The game literally looks like a next gen game and there are so many mods that change the whole game's mechanics and make it feel like an even better experience than Vanilla. I definitely recommend checking them out

Witcher 3 came out 7 years ago and is widely considered as one of the greatest game ever made. It is a pretty long game and if you want to do everything there is to do plus the DLCs, it can be 150+ hours. The DLCs themselves are 20+ hours long. You should definitely pick it up.

Witcher 3 Basic Game was awesome. 1st DLC was eerie and Gothic scary. 2nd DLC, Blood and Wine, was better than some entire games, introduced you to a totally different visual experience and in my opinion exhibited some of the finest writing I've ever seen in any game. It also takes place in the only part of the Witcher World in which I could enjoy settling down for a long and happy retirement...if not for all the damned vampires.

As you yourself noticed the woman was smiling in the finale, so the accusations against her were true, she deserved execution. (Another detail Gerlat tells her to close her eyes, but she doesn't, this makes you understand that the woman wasn't the first time she had to deal with her death). The game is full of "choices" that Geralt has to make just like in the trailer, and some of them won't be easy at all.

Smiling does NOT confirm guilt. She could have smiled because soldiers of the invading army were just slaughtered and their commanding officer was at her mercy. And she has very likely seen so much suffering caused by Nilfgardians so far,that what's few more deaths, especially by the dreaded enemy. Infact such a thing could easily lift someone's spirits. Wouldn't you be happy to hold the faith of your would be executioner in your hands?

In "A Night to Remember" trailer, which preceded the basic "Wild Hunt" game release, you're actually seeing a weird flashforward/flashback sequence that only becomes clear after you finish the last DLC, "Blood & Wine." You get to meet that particular vampire then...and while beautiful, you'll see that she's not just a pretty face.

"Who's this". Emhyr var Emris, Emperor of Nilfgard. Ciri's biological father. In his own way, he loves her. If you haven't gotten the game by now, I recommend you do so. Yes, there are some gruesome scenes, but there are also some beautiful ones. And as others have said below, it is a long game. A very rich game.

He may be her biological father but he never deserved that title. Ciri's true family consists of Geralt, Yennefer, Triss, Vesemir, Lamber and Eskel, Dandelion, Zoltan, Halmar, Cerys, Crach, Ermion, Regis, and some more bc I'm sure I'm missing a few. This is my opinion anyways.

Best DLC of any game ever and I hate DLC. Both of them were long with fantastic stories. Oh, the combat mechanics are so much better in Witcher 3. They improved each game. Horrible in 1, bad in 2, great in 3.

You missed a great opportunity when the Netflix series premiered. Steam saw the possibility to make a real killing and offered Witcher 3, Wild Hunt for like 14 bucks, and for something like 17 or 18, you got the basic game and both the DLC's, "Hearts of Stone" and "Blood and Wine." They also threw in a lot of extras like "New Game +" where you could start the whole game over but you had all the abilities and gear you had obtained while playing the basic game and the DLCs. (Of course they doubled or trebled the strength of all the monsters too...would have been too easy to walk through the base game settings with your top line armor.)

But I got a new gaming computer just a month before the sale by Steam and grabbed the entire game series for less than 20 bucks...then I disappeared into WitcherLand for about 4 months :)

Most people misunderstand this trailer. She ate the dead soldiers, looted their bodies, and killed the wounded ones. The soldiers should just simply execute the woman, but no, they played with her. Thats the part where Geralts line comes in. "Evil is evil"

Umm, no. What? How did you deduce that? Just an innocent peasant being falsely accused for the amusement of soldiers. That line is just a badass line they chose to voice over this clip. In "The Lesser Evil", where this is quoted from, geralt really is faced between 2 evils, and tells Stregobor he won't be persuaded to choose as he doesn't believe in "greater" and "lesser" evils, hence the "evil is evil". His morals get the better of him, however, and so he chooses to act. The fact geralt is only reacting after further injustice is just a character trait of his. He knows he shouldn't, but he always does.
