in 3 they do a good job of letting you know folks dont like witchers - getting spat on and having insults throw at you when your just going thru a town was a interesting touch as even in games were you play a villain your normally still not treated like that and it sort of helps you get more into the mindset abit of a witcher because you could very easily wipe out a whole town without so much as breaking a sweat but then you would be proving your the monster they claim you are so you just have to take it and carry on doing your job.

I think the sadness of the second trailer captures the overall vibe of the whole universe. Be it the books or games, large part of the monster killing has kind of a sad undertone to it. We see the world where the conflict between monsters/humans is pretty much over, monsters already lost and there are just few rare stragglers trying to survive the best they can. The similar can be said about witchers, there is not much use for them anymore, they are relics of the past.

I think this trailer was primarily intended to show off many of the different tools you have in the game. Geralt uses Black Blood potion, the Aard and Quen signs, a Moondust bomb, and the crossbow. They want you to see that it's not just swordplay. It is a trailer for the base game, but I'm pretty sure one of the characters in Blood and Wine is based on this female vampire.

Yeah "A Night to Remember" was pretty much the "Announcement"(official DLC Trailer also exists) of Blood and Wine and thats why it is also in the MAin Menu if you have that DLC or the GOTY/CE. The Potion he drank was "Black Blood" and that one practically poisons anyone especially Vampires, who drink a Witchers Blood that has it in him and weakens them considerably. And the one in the Trailer was a Bruxa, a higher Vampire, pretty strong, invisible if she wants to, fast AF and her scream is really nasty, but they are, as you may know by now, mere servants compared to the real High Vampires. The Bomb is called "Moon Dust" filled with Silver Particles, taking away the invisibility and weakening any creature or prohibit their magical abilities, like shapeshifting and things like that.

You nailed it, the monster he's fighting in A Night To Remember is a Bruxa, a form of lesser vampire. Specifically, she's Orianna, a character you meet in the Blood & Wine DLC (even though this trailer was released to drum up hype for the main game). In the DLC, you find that she's living as a noblewoman in Toussaint, very wealthy, and she owns an orphanage where she's been known to feed on the children in her care (though she claims that she never takes enough to harm them). The trailer is implied to happen a few years AFTER the end of the Blood & Wine DLC, after Orianna emerges from hiding following her cover as a vampire being blown.

The ingenuity of the developers to tie everything, from books and their imaginative creation with Geralt, that for them to add the line of 'choosing evils' is just brilliant. This tells you that the witcher knew who she was, and based on the vulnerability of the situation, he flexed the balance of the scale. When Geralt replied "killing monsters", one would only have to think why Geralt would kill the soldiers who are only trying to follow the command of the Emperor. But the trailer was more than a cinematic, it was a brain wrenching narrative drivethrough that watching it just ONCE is not simply sufficient (and won't adequately give credit to this trailer).

Hi. Just found your channel because I was thinking about jumping into TW3 again. I wanted to see someone new to the game playing it alongside my new run and that's what led me to your channel. I'm not sure exactly how far your into the game yet (have only watched some of part 1 so far) but I wanted to ask what your plans are with it. When you say your going to focus on the main story, do you mean your not going to post any side missions? freeroaming around the world on scavenger hunts for the weapons & armor sets and exploring the points of interest? What about the Witcher contracts to hunt all of the monsters plaguing the villages, cities etc?
@StopMeOh4 жыл бұрын
That's a very good question, I'm still trying to figure it all out. End of the day I want this to be the best possible experience for the viewers - so I want to record anything that's interesting. In order to get better I've been playing on my own, mostly focusing on checking out question marks on the maps, they're usually simple missions so far (kill the bandits, etc.). I was told there's so many interesting side quests and I said it somewhere I believe - I'd love to record all the side quests that might seem important or are cool in general. So even though it's a long game I'm willing to record most part of it - not just the main quests - while doing stuff on my own as well.

Likewise I got two different endings for Hearts of Stone but same ending for Blood and Wine.

You need to accept contracts to fight against such monsters. Contracts appear on village boards. That vampire belongs specifically to the blood and wine dlc. Greetings and sorry for my bad English xD

There's 4 or 5 wild ones in a cave in Toussaint, you first see naked women bathing then Geralt comments "this isn't good" just before they transform attacking all at once They'll one shot you in grand master gear if you let your guard down

*Regarding Morality* Sometimes the right thing to do is the most difficult. Sometimes once good people turn to wickedness and evil. In Geralt's world there are some creatures that were once good people. If a good person is still trapped inside it is better to try to reverse the spell. But sometimes there is nothing left of the original person so the creature should be put to death. Knowing the difference makes for a good Witcher. Keep in mind there are many monsters which did not start off as people. These should always be killed. Some are even smart enough to try and trick you into thinking they were once human when they were not. Demons sometimes do this. Never trust the words of *evil* ones no matter what they tell you. *This is very important.* Sometimes you will need to use your best judgement to determine if someone is friend or foe.

alright so I played this game for like over 160 hours and still haven't completed the game yet coz I just keep wandering around and chasing monsters and killing every monster that I see. I always get so distracted lol but this is an absolute master piece and has full 100% replayability ^^

I don't think The witcher is a story about good and bad, but more about "what can you live with?" kind of situations. Who will you forgive? Who will you punish? Who will suffer suffer from your actions, and did you make the right/best choice? As he said in the first trailer: the lines are blured, so make a choice ans live with what it tell about you (selfishely always saving your friends? trying to enforce justice to the cost of everybody's lives? being a pure nd simple monster and killing all who cross you?)

If you would watch the Witcher Blood and Wine cut scene movie, the vampire Oriana had a nice big part, very interesting. I enjoyed your video.
