In this video you will see one of the famous and more unusual Jatra (Hindu Festival) celebrated in Goa. Shirgao is the small town in Bicholim Taluka, east of Mapusa. The jatra is famous among the devotees and tourists alike for the celebrated walk on hot coal raked from an enormous bonfire.The jatra takes place in early part of May.
