Speaking of SMG4, I’m hoping for a rap battle with Tari, who’s possibly my favorite character within the series (though maybe not from Glitch Productions as a whole). Any FRB creator could pull of a good effort with her, but I feel like Freshy Kanal and Eddiefrb (I should also shout to the latter for this masterpiece by the way) are the most likely to do such a thing.

Everyone kinda knows about Asriel Dreemur being an anagram of Serial Murderer so it’s not as impactful anymore. (Obviously, Ralsei’s name is an anagram of Asriel.) If anything, the stellar wordplay can be credited to Toby Fox. Anagrams are a common theme throughout Deltarune. The name of the game itself is even an anagram for Undertale.

Fun. This battle is pure, unabashed fun! The editing was top notch and had similar quality on both sides despite the clear difference in styles, every voice actor was flawless, and the writing felt legitimately dead even to where I might even call this a literal draw. Anyways, deltarune has this character named Noelle holiday and in chapter 2 you’re able to manipulate her to the point of deleting her friend. This is known as the snow grave route, and it has this name because when you fight berdly who is another deltarune character who is supposed Noelle’s friend, there’s a prompt to use a new spell called “SNOWGRAVE” Keep in mind that in the snowgrave route, it’s not the main character manipulating Noelle, it’s you. But anyways, at first you press the snowgrave prompt in the boss fight and she refuses to do it saying she doesn’t know that spell. However, you can still gaslight her into casting it by prompting her to do it again and again and again. Finally she says something along the lines of, “Fine, watch what happens when I cast a spell I don’t know.” Then she enters some sort of trance and freezes berdly possibly to death. He becomes stuck in an ice block and Noelle says that she doesn’t feel good and that she’s going home. At the end of the game, when you wake up from what was supposed to be a dream, the rest of the characters wake up too. All but berdly, who only wakes up in the normal route. In other words, it’s kind of like ralsei saying, “I hope you kill someone close to you.”

Personally, I'm not much of a fan of when fictional rap battles has one of the characters be the kind trope because they have to stick with that personality and it doesn't fit the vibe, and it feels more like waiting for the real verse to drop and it never arrives, like most of Ralsei's part, but it's not bad or anything, it just feels like it could have been better if someone else like Susie was picked. Megumin instead was absolutely fire! Her VA's does a fenomenal work and the rhymes are all fantastic, I love Deltarune but Ralsei was absolutely obliterated. Also, the soundtrack is a banger too. Long story short, this was really good! The Megumin part is superior, of course, but they both are pretty good. Excellent work!
