The lack of design on the dreadnought pisses me off especially, how can you not even add the smallest bit of spice when you see the old dc dread, plus redemptor dread body isn’t it

Thats one of the things that annoys me so much about the whole thing. While I strongly dislike the Primaris I dislike that GW isn't even trying. Just the same units sold with only a minor effort on the painters end.. plus I'm sure they didn't paint the backs of those units.

This is the fault of the fans, I hate to say it, but it's true. For years people have been screaming for Gw to " trim down, and simplify" the space marine line .. this is what you get. Every space marine army is practically the same now, just painted different. With the models and the rules both, the fun, fluff, and flavor is gone from the game, and it will only get worse. I miss the old editions where the game had a soul

Yes and no. Mostly those comments were used in terms of throwing out the old core of the marines. Its something that will come back to bite many as GW goes full stormcast.

As a deathwatch player, this box looks good to me lol... Started 40k in 10th edition and bought 10,000 points of deathwatch.. This box looks better than the 3 agent boxes.. so i guess im a blood angels player now?

The agent boxes are.. ugh. Don't see why you'd need to be a Blood Angels player. The Intercessors are generic enough to add to other forces with little effort. While I strong dislike the Primaris my main bone to pick here is with GW. Looking back at the design of the old Death Company boxes then this.. eh. It looks like clearing out stock without needing to update those units at all. So I just believe GW should have done more, however if you're happy I'm glad for that.

@@mrnobodypresents1349 oh well I mean I'm a blood angels player now because at least the detachment is interesting id still be more like a custom chapter because I'll still build them like they are deathwatch, with death watch pauldrons and random chapter on the right shoulder but maybe I'll theme the paint around blood angels, gold arm instead of silver, and the random chapters pauldron a red/black trim So it's like a merging of deathwatch gaining the red thirst of blood angels. At least thematically so they won't really look as bad as the generic marines on the box. But as a deathwatch player I need a direction to go for a legal army for when I'm not playing the DW index for fun. Blood Angels seems like a good fit. I already picked up Dante and mephiston. Just need to think of a name and and some lore for why the deathwatch has the red thirst 😂 Also I'll be giving the same treatment to Guilliman/calgar and Tor Garadon so I can really play any chapter just I'll put a little more focus on the blood angels theme as an overall army theme

@@WildAce001 Hmm, maybe it was a freak issue? Or an agreement with the Blood Angels to keep the defect under wraps? Maybe they're sent in to the most dangerous situations where coming back alive isn't likely. Now I'd like to see how they look with the gold over the silver. In the future I intend to do some Iron Warriors using a aged pewter metallic paint. Hope it goes well!

You do have a point. I think this is a stop gap for future models to come in the future. You may judge me, I like the box and minis in it. Also, you may call me a hypocrite for hating what GW did to Deathwatch.

To be frank I don't think its a stop gap, at this point GW just likes to recolor Intercessors. Hopefully they do actually make a unique Death Company Intercessor for the folks who dig Primaris. Now why would I call anyone a hypocrite for what they like and don't like? As I expressed in the video my main point of issue is GW not providing a better product. Folks can make fun of the old marines all they want but... at the time they were really going all in. Why should folks today expect soo much less for slightly taller models? Thanks for the comment!

The sad thing is he should be going on about how GW needs to put effort into their products, however its my doubt that he'll do such a thing when it isn't the easy no risk option. Don't know much about the guy so I'm not going to insult his character but, I will say he does help the Fomo train get to rolling. And I'm pretty sure I'll be put in the 'negative' line even though I care more about the product folks are getting then if I like it. Still have a great day.

Just buy recast. I dont respect their intellectual property as they dont respect me as a customer of that property. Wartablegames lets me buy everything from old mark 2 marines to lemartes and a warlord titan for cheap and forgeworld quality. Anyways i just dont like GW as a company and every issue you explain here has been an issue for quite some time. To protect my love of the hobby I have just stopped checking what's new as I dont really care
