The exact definition of the Ghazal is “to talk to the beloved ones”. It may be understood as a poetic expression of both the pain of loss or separation and the beauty of love in spite of that pain. It was originated in Iran and it is one of the most Artistic form of Arbaic, Turkish, Persian and Urdu Literature. Initially, the Ghazal was written in the context of Problems and Solution of those problems faced by Womens in the Society. But After Several Centuries, Audience took interest in Love Affairs and the whole Mushaira was gradually shifted from entire Women Community to only one form of Women i.e. beloved ones and hence the definition of Ghazal transformed.
