These elevators are being modernized, I very recently just came back to Austin from New York and when I got to this airport I figured out these elevators are being modernized, the modernization started on June 2, 2021

Well, these elevators were originally Montgomery from around 1996-1997, and were modernized a few years later for more efficient maintenance, since the newer Montgomery elevators with Mi-Prom controllers were difficult to service. Also, by hospital size cab, the cab is significantly larger than standard passenger cabs, so they can be used for transporting larger volumes of people, or goods, or hospital beds, and are usually 3000 to 6000 pounds (roughly 1500 to 3000 kilograms in other countries).

Crazy to say, but that is MEI! That is Steve’s custom indicator that screams MEI. The fact they also used innovation makes it more obvious too.

Yea... It was screaming MEI to me as well... But it doesn't use the same buttons that MEI tend to use. I see those buttons on old Monty/Kones.
