The fight was mainly between a heck lot of normal fire and fire power and scientifically enhanced ice. The ice was special so it couldn't be combated with normal weapons and flames. But the moment the Pyro let out something special as well was the moment it was basically the same as using normal fire vs normal ice.

i love the fact that pyro had 10 weapons while he can carry only 3 he had 3 melee weapon (where dmg goes to ppl connected with medic, the mallet he used against snowball and the deafault axe) 3 first handed weapons (one with mmmphmm, dragon fury and the deafault) and 4 second handed weapons (deafault shotgun, signal flare, gas and the jetpack)

Such a good video. Here's my comment from another video. Both are good fighters but in terms of a one on one death battle, I'd say Pyro would win hands down. For starters, I'm sure Pyro's flamethrower can easily melt or at the very least break away a good amount of Mei's ice wall easily since his fire is hot enough to melt metal robots. Mei does have a good long range advantage with her icicle which can headshot but it's a projectile which pyro can easily reflect with his air blast. (Worth noting, her Endothermic Blaster shoots a concentrated stream of frost which according to the wiki is "Projectile-like" which might be able to be reflected back and same goes for her ultimate which is an "Arching Projectile") Even though Mei has a healing ability, she's left stationary and staying in one spot is not something you'd want to do against a pyro that's meant to get in close and deliver a lot of DP in such a short time. Not to mention she doesn't have much mobility to escape from that close up to Pyro while Pyro has a jet pack or can flare gun hop. In terms of experience, Pyro has been fighting a wide variety of mercenaries, robots, monsters demons and magic users. Even took down an entire blue team by himself while Mei isn't really a fighter but more of a scientist with a freeze gun. In terms of durability, Pyro survived a fiery explosion in a 2 story weapons shed in the comics, can casually walk through a -50 degree blizzards without even feeling the cold. Also from what I've seen in videos regarding Torbjorn's molten core vs Mei's Ice, the ice wall can only survive in the molten core for a few seconds before it melts. From what I've gathered, it says Torbjorn shoots molten lava which has a melting point of 1,292° and 2,372° Fahrenheit but Pyro can melt Steel robots which steel has a melting point of 1,370° degrees C or 2,500° Fahrenheit. So pyro's fire is hotter but he also has a phlogistinator which can melt things at an atomic level. So Pyro easily had this from the beginning.

That ending legit sends chills down my spine. I was horrified. I forgot how they portray pyro being this cruel monster back in Meet the Pyro. Really reminds me how terrified my 12 year old self back in the day watching Meet the Pyro, excluding the pyrovision scene. The way that this video inserted Mei struggling and screaming made my heart stop. Its not because I favor Mei to win, it's just terrifying to see and listen a human being burned alive. "One shudders to imagine what inhuman thoughts lie behind that mask. What dreams of chronic can sustain the cruelty."
