The only bottle of Turbo that I saw I bought straight away. Never saw any more... I opened mine, definitely a great dram. Cheers!

Great guest appearance by James as always! This had me laughing out loud a few times 😂 The OBVIOUS tie-in with music is Judas Priest: the literally have an album called 'Turbo' (1986), and the cover art would have made a kick-ass label...just my two cents. Can't wait to try some of these in the future. Cheers Rob!

You just set the mood for my next Scotch session. Been years since I listened to this!

@jamesbornn It's the love/hate Priest album; I don't go back to it very often, either. But they still do the title track live, and Rob Halford still kills it at age 70🤘 Enjoy some Turbo with your Turbo!

I'll add my vote to the Original being the best whisky of the bunch but the Turbo being the most interesting. Definitely need them to be 8-10years though. Oh, and the online retailer you're thinking of is Tyndrum. Excellent shop in Scotland.

Great discussion. James is always a pleasure to listen to and generous with his time and insights about whiskies and the industry.

Hey guys, loved the new video! Last night, me and my buddy did a tasting. We started with the usual low abv and non-smoky whiskies, then worked our way up to the high ABV and peated ones. The issue came when we went from the Craigellachie 23 and Springbank 18 to the Roseisle 12 and Kilkerran heavily peated. They tasted great individually, but they seemed kinda basic compared to the more complex ones we had before. I'd be really interested to see a WhiskyRant on how you and Jeremy would set up a tasting with 10 different bottles, varying in ABV and casks. It'd be cool to hear how you guys would choose the lineup. Oh, and have fun at Spirits of Toronto tonight! Hopefully, you'll get to try that Benromach 40!

I love "The Sherry one" Haven't tried the "The Turbo" as it is very hard to get hold of here in Germany and crazy expensive if you do find it !!

Not surprised. The good news is it’ll be back.

I don’t like the new logo/design colours, but maaaaybe it’s an improvement on the psychedelic Flintstones. I think the new look is bland. I’d like them to just launch a design competition (winner gets an old bottle). I bet an enthusiast could gone up with something better with what Glenallachie have now. Also, not mad at “turbo”. BW obviously DGAF about packaging or names.
