The gloves are for keeping the cymbals nice when you hold them :)

@@3oore they are actually to keep them from tarnishing. With the oils on your skin, they will tarnish extremely quickly which dramatically changes the sound.

@@JustysFrank soooooo.... rubbing them all over my oily body may have affected the look and sound of the cymbals? good to know..... but I won't stop

I got to have some of these. The 14" hats and the 22" Thin ride sound amazing! Oh and of course they look as good as they sound. Add it to the list, hah!

I think in this price range the paiste 15" dark energy hihats,18" extra thin masters crash,and the 22" masters ride pretty much sounds better to my ears. Saying that I truly wish them the best with there new foundry offering.Im sure they would work well in various situations.

My choice is 14” hats, 18” crash, 20” light ride and 22” ride. Beautiful cymbals. The 15” hats are too weak and undefined; the 20” ride is too small for me and the 22” light ride has no structure (when compared to its fantastic, heavier counterpart). Anyway, these Foundry Reserve cymbals are absolutely a winner.

Sideoutside nope. Not even close. K cons are more complex with more dynamical range. These sound rather hollow, and I’ve played them side by side with k con. They sound hollow compared to k con, And the bells on k con are far better

DRUGATECH THATS WHAT I SAID The meinl version just doesn’t have the life the k cons do. Not even close. I can k cons over not so loud music, meinl I cant
@thesneakygamer43434 жыл бұрын
@@elithepitbulldog2209 I think it depends what you want. I own a couple K cons and I would say they aren't very traditional sounding in my opinion. They actually are probably more versatile because they are brighter and louder. I actually think these Meinl's are a bit more complex sounding but maybe that's just me. Personally, I love my K cons but that's because I don't play straight ahead jazz, if I did I might prefer the Meinl's.

This makes me think that their multiplier for these products are too high and they are looking for ways to add precieved value without adding much cost to the manufacturer. Sticks useless gloves and a worthless piece of paper.

You're right. These doesn't sound exceptional. Good they do. Not justify the price.
@SilentPorpus834 жыл бұрын
I dont think so, these cost roughly the same as Zildjian K Cons maybe a LITTLE bit more but these look and sound similar to them, if anything the only thing that I like is how they included their new drum sticks because those are actually nice and not everyone has them in stock
@shitstain0013 жыл бұрын
