You can buy the soundcaster or the z3 secondhand or any cymbal at that. It's a HELL of a lot cheaper, just check for the edges and any keyholing. For example, I have a Paiste Crash/Ride 18 inch that I bought used in nearly perfect condition for LESS than 50 bucks. Hope this encourages you to look around guitar center and other places like that! (You can search used products at GC online)

Thank you for making these videos of the new meinl cymbals! Helps a lot!But I think that the ride is just 20'', not 22'' ;)

Same here, that's why I was wondering. I want a ride that has a big bell and super clear stick definition for blast beats and complicated patterns. But it's nearly impossible to find the right one, my ONLY hope is the zildjian megabell. Paiste just realized an 18 inch giga bell ride (Aquiles Priester's cymbal) But you can't hear anything of the bow of the cymbal, but the bell is super loud. And so the search continues....... DD:

Have you tried it out in person? For the Classics custom, does it build up a lot of wash when doing fast patterns? I would love to know. Thanks!
