Amid a ton of drum videos online, this is simply in a different league. The tuning of the vintage kit, the ridiculous mix of fast decay cymbals, the rhythmic shifts from latin to pure funk, the bonkers fills - every tiny detail adds up to incredible groove, momentum and feel, and a riveting musical experience. Greb is meticulous; he is to drums what the GB cycling team are to the Tour de France. Be inspired, it doesn't get any better than this.

Damn, it is. Really never thought it would be. "Designed in close cooperation with Meinl artist Benny Greb" Well, it might have been his idea i guess but "designed in close cooperation"? There really is not much to think about...it's different strenghts/sizes of magnets and the Meinl logo on top. Also, i know for a fact that he hardly uses them. Saw him in Austria and got on stage before the gig (was a local music school thing where everyone was 1 arm length away the kit and there werent any cymbal tuners at all.

I've watched a lot of astonishing drumming videos, but I always come back to this one. It is unquestionably, in my eyes, the best single drumming performance I've ever seen.
