Had the pleasure of watching her last weekend live at the Tam Tam Drumfest 2022 (Seville) and man... She absolutely nailed it! The crowd gave her almost 3 minutes clapping applause. Totally deserved. Obrigado.

ryan adams I couldn’t call it 4 cymbals, one of them is a little donut shaped piece of b20. I own them and they are amazingggggggg but bought them used for 300. Definitly wouldn’t pay full price for them though. It’s basically 3 splashes and a donut disc which def doesn’t add up to 500 but then again it comes with the mount and clutch which brings up the price.

La "petite" Camille s'envole..on l'a rattrapera plus..Bravo,chez Meinl actuellement,c'est une sorte de consécration ;fière que la culture musical s'exporte et que son talent soit reconnu,c'est plus que mérité,cette femme comme un Marco Minnemann ou un Virgil Donati (qu'elle affectionne il me semble) est une des pionnières qui tendra a developper cet art qu'est la batterie et son univers rythmique,déjà une grande dame!

Camille's style in this video seems somewhat less eccentric (and less technically difficult) than her older video posts. I'm not sure which I prefer the most. I remember the days when if cymbals where not either Zildjian or Paiste then they sounded like §H¡Г; but now I think I like the sound of these Meinls best of all. Then again, Camille can prolly make anything she percusses sound great ! I also really love that none of her percussion sounds are altered (in the mixer via mics or, god forbid, triggers) into some artificiality as are they with seemingly ever increasingly high numbers of (other) drummers.
