I like that the princesses had these intense tattoos all over, but they were still drawn to be feminine and graceful. I'd love to see Mulan, Rapunzel, Belle, and Pocahontas next! Especially Mulan and Pocahontas because their culture could play into the tattoo choice (and Pocahontas already has the armband).

Not only are the princesses' body tattoos gorgeous, but I also love the elements surrounding them like the roses and thorns around Aurora, the lamp underneath Jasmine, a more spiritually designed Sisu with Raya, and the dolphin and octopus with Ariel.

I have to say, I think my favorite of all of these is Jasmine. Something about the composition of the entire piece plus the placement of all of her tattoos was just really stunning. The subtle nod to the pinup style of tattoos with her perching on the lamp (intentional or not) was really cool!

I think it would be really neat if you drew the princesses in traditional outfits and holding objects/food/plants/animals that come from the real-life equivalent of their culture & time period; i.e. Pacific Islands for Moana, Indonesia/Malaysia for Raya, ancient China for Mulan, 1920s New Orleans for Tiana, 1600s Virginia for Pocahontas, 1800s Norway for Anna/Elsa, etc. It would take a lot of research, but it would be AWESOME!!

I’d love to see some traditional/cultural tattoos mixed in. Like how many Pacific Island cultures have bold tattoos on the face, upper arms, and stuff. I also love the watercolor tattoo trend and how the colors don’t have to stay inside the lines.

I really like the Aurora drawing the dress is geourgeous the background is so amazing and the leg tattoos, especially the vines look so cool! But I think that adding a spinning wheel to the design would have been cool and I wish you would have done more with the hair to make it more modern and interesting.

Stunning concept for a series. The designs are amazing, well done Mei. Not quite Disney but would love to see your take on a Anastacia or swan princess design. I love watching your videos. I have also all of your coloring books. My fave of this video is Ariel. If I ever got a tattoo it would be a dolphin with a wave because dolphins are my fave animal or a crab with a pear in it claws, because my star sign is a crab and the pearl because that's my birthstone

This was incredible. Its interesting to see how some beautiful Disney princesses would look like as modern day girls/young women with tattoos that connect to who they are and their story. Aurora's looks like she's a goth chick who isn't afraid to show some bright colours with her edgy side, plus I really love the Maleficent/dragon aspect of her tattoos since they look amazing. Jasmine's looks like she's an amazing dancer/athlete who loves to show her independence with some wild, magical and fantastical tattoos to compliment her sweet, beautiful and caring side, plus I really love the Raja and cobra aspect of her tattoos since they look fierce. Raya's looks like she's an athletic/martial artist who loves to show her skills as well as her heritage/background with the art of her tattoos, plus I really love aquatic/sky aspect of her tattoos since they look amazing and air well with the stylized Sisu. Ariel's looks like she's a sweet girl who loves to swim who isn't afraid to show some bright colours that reflect the sea, plus I really love the water aspect of her tattoos since they look amazing, pair well with the dolphins & waves and just overall really looks beautiful, graceful and shows her passion and love for the ocean. This was an excellent start to your new "Princesses with Tattoos" series and I know I'm just gonna love the next ones that will come out (plus I love how you said Ariel is your favourite Disney princess since she's my favourite as well). Also id love to see you include Merida, Anna, Elsa, Moana and Mirabel into this series since I feel like they would look great with tattoos. Great job as always Mei and I can’t wait to see what you draw next.

So many of us are enjoying the art process, myself included, but I'm also looking at these tattoos, their placement, colors, composition on the body, and gradients, and I can't help but imagine just how painful these would be, especially the water going down both of Ariel's legs and on her waist, the cloud on Jasmine's right ankle, and the hellfire on Aurora's leg and shoulder. This could just be my low pain tolerance getting the better of me, but getting a tattoo is painful, and even more so to remove one, for both your body AND your wallet.

All the ariels in that challenge were great, dr seuss and Danganronpa style top couple of favs, no tattoos on me (i would love it one day and eventually want to change it or get rid of it lol) i enjoy looking at some professionally done tattoos sometimes and in situations like characters from video games,shows, colouring books and art work's like these it looks good raya fav from these ones
