Hello everyone! This video is a non-narrated vod of the Mekgineer Thermaplug Encounter in the Gnomeregan Raid in Phase 2 of the World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery. I certainly don't play perfectly here, but I thought that it was a decent showcase of what this fight looks like from a Healing Mage's perspective. Unless you prefer aoe healing you can pretty much just have another AOE heal like priest and do LF with tons more dps. Long as your group isn't bad at failing mechanicals then AOE rune is waste. I used to chase the heal parse also but learned we are more useful as tank heals and doing insane DPS which changes how you look at parses which is DPS. You can add around 100 more DPS by picking LF long as your group doesn't struggle Doing so pretty much makes you a full DPS and makes your group a one heal comp, it just brings more value to your group.

@@dlmurray55 For sure, great point! In this case I think that we needed the extra AoE Healing. There were a lot of extra DoTs / raid-wide damage going out at times and I find that spamming Regeneration on multiple targets is a one way ticket to running out of Mana early, so I like to have the option to Mass Regen and top everyone up if needed. Once the mechanics are handled a bit better I'll definitely pass that responsibility off to the Priest and use LF to speed up the phases though. =)

Hahaha, I did used to have an addon that let you play Minesweeper / Tetris / Solitaire on the side of the screen, maybe I'll have to bring that back ;) And thanks! I like the frames too, I think they're super clean

The Addon is called Weakauras, you can find a download link here on Curseforge if you'd like: www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/weakauras-2 You can find a link to the specific Missile Barrage Weakaura that I'm using here: wago.io/Kptm918ct After installing the Addon go to the Wago link for the Weakaura above, click "Copy Import String" in the red oval near the top of the page, then type "/wa" (without the quotes) in-game and press enter. Then click Import near the top of the Weakauras settings window that should appear, then simply press ctrl + v and then click the red "Import" button down at the bottom. After that you should see the purple bubble when you get a Missile Barrage Proc. You can also adjust the size and position of the graphic from the Weakauras settings menu if you'd like. Hope that helps! I'm not sure if you needed the full breakdown but I figured that there might be other people who aren't familiar with Weakauras who were wondering too. =)
