Documentary film from MRC Fisheries Series, telling the story of the fisheries in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam. It is part of MRC ongoing campaign to increase awareness of Mekong issues and the need for regional cooperation in the management of natural resources for the benefit of over 55 million people living in the Lower Mekong Basin.The film was produced by the Research Institute for Aquaculture No.2, Vietnam.

China has at least 13 major dams upstream on the Mekong River that pose a tremendous threat to more than 60 million people who live in Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam who depend on the river for their livelihood.
