I’m really enjoying your video so far, Jim. I think you said, “cam on,” about the 9:35 mark? If that was your voice, that was a pretty good Vietnamese accent. 😊👍🏼 Thanks so much for sharing!

I wish I was there enjoying the trip and weather with you . Just woke up to snow covering everything up here early this morning at the rest area here in Michigan . I like the fact that you cover as much in your trip as possible , I don't think I could've slept on the bus myself. Can't wait to see you back in the states safely . Be careful.

The most boring part of VN is prolly that Mekong Delta region. Not much to see. The highlights are some Khmer temples, the floating market in Can Tho and Ho Chi Minh's father's tomb in Cao Lanh. Also, the big bridge in Can Tho is a bit interesting.

Can’t imagine fighting a war in that. Intimidating, and they are used to it.

Vietnam is solidly Buddhist...officially 80% or so. The younger generation is more likely to say they are atheist. In the North, there is a HCM clt. Catholics make up about 20% of the population.
@the_gilded_age_phoenix8717Ай бұрын
There is also a "one-eye" clt that has a nice temple in Tay Ninh.
