We're playing it for our spring concert, and the percussion (me!) Section gets to set up a bunch of bass drums throughout the auditorium to mimick the sound of a jet flying over your head!!!

I heard this piece at the High School Senior Concert night - on June 6th the Anniversary of D Day. I know Vietnam War Veterans were in the audience. I wasnt prepared for the emotions this brought. Tears started, and I cried hard in my seat. Our school seniors did so well. What an amazing aong to finish their high school years with.

You shouldn’t, you should be honored to play such a piece. It’s an absolutely gorgeous part, to feel attacked makes no sense.

@@simplyy_the_sauciest9845 I only said that because whenever I first saw it, hell looked no different. But after being able to play and preform this piece, it’s amazing. One of the best pieces I’ve ever played.
