​@@proudamhara6491 that is because amharas are semiticized agaws. Look at amharic itself, it is the only semitic language with a lot of cushitic influence, at least 30% according to linguists. It even has a agaw cushitic substratum meaning there is linguistic proof that it was originally agaw and had a linguistic shift towards semitic. Amharas began adopting axumite cultural traditions and this is how amharas became ethnically different from agaws

@@user-yy7cw7fl8p i speak a amharic its a semitic language so i can just understand some words in other semitic languages but there are 4 ethnic branches in ethiopia semitic cushitic omotic and nilotic and each one of theese have many ethnic groups with their own language traditions cloths extera and if i only understand some words in semitic languages imagine in other etnic branches even though we lived as neighbours and coexisted for thousand of years we are so different with each other I can understand more arabic or Hebrew and other semitic ethiopian languages than cushitic or nilotic or omotic languages cause arabic and hebrew are semitic.
