i don't know how this situation is seen in other countries & cultures but for me - south american - it's not like _it looks less "bad" for Geri._ it doesn't (and shouldn't) look bad for Geri at all to begin with, like.. Mel B & her loved each other and had smth in the past. they should be able to feel comfortable to casually talk about it as any other relationship yk, if this were recent i'd understand why it'd be a 'big no' to talk about but no, it's been years. Now they are happily engaged in relationships with other people, they're full grown ups & shouldn't be haunted for the insecurity to be open about it. we'll respect their privacy too - maybe they just rather not expose their personal life in general, but i do wish one day they'll be comfortable to truly share with us a little tiny bit about what they had & if they rlly considered each other as lovers/gfs instead of "unserious friends with benefits" bc we all know, and it's clear, it meant something to them. 💗

So i come to the conclusion that it did not happend just once, it was indeed a relationship and they did hook up again during the reunion tour whilst she (Geri) was stil married to her husband. At first i thought why did Geri deny the relationship so long ago in the early spice girls days. But now i understand because Geri and Mel B probably did hook up again during the reunion time whilst she (Geri) was and stil is married to her husband. I think Geri and Mel b still had a crush on each other at that time. If you look at the videos of their reunion performance they look very in love. They even kissed on stage.

If my skin was white, it would turn red just watching this. Oh how embarrassing. Why didn't Geri just say it was true? All of the SGs claim to support the LGBTQ community. No one in the world (I think) would fault Geri for having sex with Mel B. Mel B has always been a beautiful woman. I'd really like to know why Geri sister is in the audience. Why is it sad? Mel and Geri are still close friends. They've physically been close but it didn't ruin their friendship. That's awesome! Sometimes sexual relations can ruin friendships because one or both of them think they've crossed a line and they deeply regret it. There doesn't seem to be much regret with these two. Geri is just probably embarrassed and annoyed because Mel never asked her permission to share and she didn't get to say it in own words. It's normal to want to keep some things between you and your friend!

hmm interesting. To be honest i don't think Geri is embarrassed at all. She actually mentioned she had slept with one woman ages ago like in 2003 on Howard Stern. From videos on here( many so called Meri videos) you can tell Geri is and always has been very affectionate with Mel. You can tell she loves her. Mel loves her too but she can be a bit rude and crass sometimes and in videos before Geri left the Spice Girls she was abit mean to Geri and Geri looked hurt and looked like an outsider. I think their relationship is alot more complex and complicated than just a one night stand between friends. Even Melanie ex husband mentioned how incredicly close they were and how Mel took Geri leaving so much harder than she would with any of the other girls. I think Mel getting a boyfriend and getting pregnant within 2 months probably hurt Geri too. Now 20 years later, Mel B is out and proud as bisexual and has had several girlfriends. Geri has always been a strong LGBTQ+ supporter, probably the most of them all but she only seems to have ever slept with one woman, Melanie and is now happily married to Christian and having a little 3 year old to raise. I kind of get that she thought they could have kept this to themselves. But she wasn't pissed at Mel or anything. Videos from the reunion tour they are still super affectionate with each other.
