Mel B & Geri - ROTSG 2007/2008

A compilation of every interesting, funny and cute moment I could find between Mel B and Geri during the Return Of The Spice Girls tour in 2007/2008.
Since the footage is from 2007/2008, the quality of a lot of the videos aren't good. I had to work with what I had. There were a lot of moments that I had to skip, because the videos weren't viewable. These are the "best" out there.

She was still her cheeky self in the 2019 tour. She is conservative at home with her husband and kids but when she is with her girls we see the old Geri. She's always there in some form.

Meri is so cute, Mel b use to be the one that was all on Geri, that geri became the one who clearly wanted Mel. Everyone can tell their was something more than you can see how hurt Mel was when Geri left the group

Yea! Mel confessed that she loved Geri so much and felt so so angry and then sad when Geri left.This was in Morgan's show. All in all they deeply feel each other from what's going on here.

Every member of The Spice Girls had great relationship w/ each other and it was beautiful. I do think that Mel B and Geri chemistry was/is irreplaceable and special. There were some things we know that Mel B couldn't do with other girls and it was for Geri. There were things Geri couldn't do with the rest of the members of the group except Mel B. It showed that Geri missed Mel B. I mean, let's face it. They went through so much, they have huge personality. Gemini/Leo, they didn't show up to each other's weddings. It was like they can't get enough of each other, it was like the chemistry between them never left. Geri said that she drove to Mel B's house and they made peace with what happened. It just looked like they were both happy that they didn't allow the break up to affect their friendship. It was very clear what they have was beyond friendship. It was like watching two exes on stage and you know the connection was fire and it showed. Sometimes it's hurts to lose something that is so special to you. Those moments you have captured in this video were joy.

Yes I agree. I believe they were in love with each other during the spice girls heyday but Geri just doesn’t want to admit it out of fear on how others will react. When Mel B confirmed, Geri denied it and said it was hurtful which pissed off Mel B since she felt like Geri was calling her a liar and insisted that she wasn’t lying.

Fun insight I've had: Take a look at the song "Viva Forever" - most of the lyrics were penned by Geri, it is said to have been inspired by budding vacation romance. In the early years Mel B and Geri spent at least three Christmas together (the first of which was Gran Canaria, Spain), and the music composition itself is Spanish themed. The song literally has the lyrics "Feelings unfold, they will never be sold // And the secret's safe with me". (Not particularly subtle 😂) Their relationship could've been more romantic than either hint at with the media. A heavy mix of percieved societal pressure and internal fears heightened difficulties in their relationship (platonically and otherwise).

I’m eventually planning on making a 1998 tour compilation with all the interviews around that time, which will at least showcase some of that. I’m also planning to make 1 or more videos before/after Geri left (girls perspective/geri’s perspective). Don’t know when yet though

31:26 guy gives Geri a flag as a present, I didn't even realize Mel took Geri's present and threw it away. I think Mel did reciprocate Geris Feelings during this time period but being that she was married she couldn't be as open with them. I could just be reaching with this assumption, but her throwing it away then attempting to kick it off stage even though Geri seemed like she wanted to keep it sorta showed Mel was slightly jealous even though this was a simply just a present from a fan.
