They have test marketing data. If it's not going to make money, they lose money. If you keep making losing projects, you're out of the business. The business if full of people who are in and out of the business. To stay in the business you have to make smart decisions. They're not judging him or the content. They think it's a risky project. His best bet is the giant producers of HW to take a chance on it because they can afford to lose millions in distribution. It's an utter gamble. Then these producers have hundreds of other projects that aren't as big a gamble. What do they choose? Gibson has to find a MAGA producer. But MAGA have their own agenda. They don't want to sell to liberals, or minorities, or woke, etc., so that cuts into their possible revenue. Not smart. Then you start to question the integrity of the content -- the truth of the story being told. Can you trust Gibson? You do, then I would contact Gibson through his agent and help him finance his next project.

Australians can get permits to own semi-automatic rifles if they have a legitimate need for one. In Australia they've come to terms with a truth that is difficult for many to swallow. Self defense is not a legitimate reason for the vast majority of people to own a gun. People with one or more guns in their home die by homicide at more than twice the rate of people living in a home with no gun. Not only are you not safer when you have a gun in your home, you're literally twice as likely to become a victim of homicide. We're not even talking about increased risk of a completed suicide taking place at the home, this is just dying at the hands of another person. You're likely thinking "that wont be the case with me" which is exactly what every other person thought as well. What we're dealing with is a failure on the part of many gun owners to understand that just because you feel like something is true, that doesnt actually make it true. When someone keeps a gun in the home because they think it makes them safer when in fact it put them at greater risk of being harmed, we call this being foolish. When they have been presented with cold hard data demonstrating that by keeping a gun in their home they will in fact be doubling the chances of death by homicide for every person in their home, yet they still choose to believe what they feel while ignoring the data, we call this downright stupid.
