That was a great interview. So many people are unaware of central bankings’ deviant inner workings. This needs to be shared heard far and wide.

Wow!! This was the most in-depth and informative interview I have heard in a long time. We are facing two immediate threats to our savings. First is being caught in a bail-in. Second is ultra high and eventually hyperinflation. And the third one is The Great Taking. Even David Rogers Webb finds it difficult to dodge that bullet. Can’t wait to hear what Mel has to say about it.

👍Thanks, this guest is smart, humorous, free-thinking and well-informed. Yes, I wondered whether the recent years of QE, Treasury Buybacks and change of banking-balance-sheet rules all mean that today's yield-curve inversions are less of a signal than once was. 👍

In California and Idaho, I heard lately they are reducing water available and taxing livestock, in order to meet some green future mandate. Farmers don't have any profitable solution, so Bill Gates wanted to buy the farms and use future technology to grow food very fast. Mass starvations are expected as a result though. There are videos on youtube about it lately, if you search "farmers idaho trouble"

I was well aware of the Social Security Funding issue as long ago as 2000. I kept work until I was 64 to build savings as my retirement planning assumed. My benefits would disappear by 2029 as soon as my Retirement plan mandatory distributions kick in. I 100% agree that this will become an issue for the 2028 election unless we see an economic collapse before then. Soc Sec payments for the majority will still be paid though but for those of us who saved heavily and will have a 6 figure private pension you can expect a benefit cut for the good of the nation.

This conversation makes me consider the covid lock downs and the alternative path we could have found ourselves on if we had never participated with the rest of the world in bringing a halt to our economy and artificially stimulating. Could we have boosted ourselves ahead of the world in a healthy way monetarily and would this have helped to correct some of the major underlying issues that still tainted our financial system since the GFC?

They BETTER NOT SCREW over us seniors that have worked 60-80 hours a week since 1976 and made our donations to Social Security ! If we need to start selling gold out of Ft . Knox to find us seniors - SO BE IT ! We sent the jobs to China , so now we can sell some of our gold if that’s what it takes !!!

If you were smart, you'd want them to send the gold to our seniors instead of to China.

Friend, they are giving your money to illegals. SS should never have been a program that ppl relied upon for living. It caused workers to not save and be dependent on the promises made by politicians in the past.

Crisis long before 2028, 2 trillion new debt a year, 4 trillion refinanced too. Who will buy the debt then (2025 40 trillion) at 4% interest? China, Saudi, Japan are out.

It'll be the FED. The Fed can and will create currency as the "lender (buyer) of last resort." Of course, that will also lead to incredibly high inflation, perhaps hyperinflation, as was mentioned in the interview. My advice... start and/or continue stacking! The longer you wait the more painful it'll be... right up to the point when gold & silver morph into unobtanium.

Jim Rickards, and a few others as well, have been predicting Treasury's need to revalue gold. Jim suggests that $15k/oz will be necessary to "balance the books."
@garryw-vc6qm3 ай бұрын
Suits me as I bought at $1700. However at a minimum gold holders will be expected to pay taxes on the revaluation profits and it probably won’t be the standard 28%…… expect a windfall profit tax of at least 50%.

They are invested in treasuries which fall when rates rise. Also there are many recipients as the number of workers continues to fall. We could take some pain now to cut the annual deficit but will kick the can so baby boomers get theirs and everyone else will be left holding the bag when cuts become unavoidable.
