Your English is getting better and I think it's great that you're learning bass. I'm sure that you'll make quick progress. I would recommend watching videos featuring Stanley Clarke, one of the greats, who in the mid 70's was perhaps the main person elevating bass from rhythm instrument to the lead instrument in the band, something also done later by guys like Les Claypool of Primus. He's also a 4 time Grammy winner and composes TV and movie scores. I saw him in concert at Avery Fisher Hall in NYC around 1985 or so & took a friend who was a metal head with me. He was just completely blown away. Best of luck on this extra chapter of your life!

I finally bought a bass guitar about a year and a half ago. The one you bought was #2 on my list. I bought a Yamaha TRBX174EW (tobacco burst finish) instead. Anyway, I like you're bass. You have good taste. It sounds nice too.

Remember, The bass has 3 uses, to play the beat, outline chords, and above all else, protect the beat. I know you havent studied music theory, but changing the bass note will change the guitar chord, so you should experiment with that. Don't forget you can play more than one string, in fact you can strum a bass like a guitar. Motorhead's entire sound was from Lemmy playing his bass like a guitar.

Brilliant. Bass guitar, one favorite instruments, with the siter and table . Brought a bass long time ago. But had to sell it as I didn't have time to play it . So i sold it. Wish I didn't now. My favorite bass guitarist are Stanley Clark, Tina Weymouth, robbie Shakespeare , tal wilkenfeld and suzi quatro, showing my age. As she was the 1st bassist I knew. Lol.😁. .. this is the 1st one that came to my head straight away. But ther are so many that are really great in there different scopes of music. Am going to Love watching you play more. 😍......👍😊
