Many times Mike's music has blown my mind. A master painter of music, from the minds eye. And, an integral part, of a truly legendary band. RIP; Mike, Ray & Graham.

I have always enjoyed all of the music by the lads, but Mikes music was the most special for me. His ability has a singer , song writer, and keyboardist has never been given his just due that he well deserves.

Wow, dare I say this version has more muscle/strength than the album version! Mike can belt out a tune! I never got to see him perform live with the Moodies. By the time I was old enough to go, it was the Moraz 80’s version. I wrote Mike an email once and he was kind enough to write back. I asked him if the Moodies ever performed ‘Days of Future Passed’ live in its entirety in the 60s, and he wrote back saying ‘No’...

I saw the Moodies during their Octave tour. When the show started, I saw there was another keyboard player and right then, the show was over for me. One of my biggest disappointments. The Moodies without Mike is like a fish with no water. If Justin was the heart, Mike was the soul.

I wish he would've stayed in the band. Its like losing Lennon in The Beatles.

Yes indeed. For me, it's always been the Beatles, the Moody Blues, & then everybody else. The most popular band ever & the most underrated band ever.

After hearing this performance, it makes me wondering how to describe the later Moodies once Mike had left. I would venture words like saltless, decaffeinated, less creative, routinary, uninspired. They were still a great band, of course, but lost this essential ingredient that made them, well, THE Moody Blues.

Mike Pinders voice and mellotron in this tune are far below the standard he and his bandmates set during the Isle of Wight concert in front of 600,000 people in 1970.
