If you look at photos of the original plan from 1962, the flower part of the garden looks very much the same as now. The roses were white also then. It is now the end of August, what you are thinking when you say colourless, must be compared to what it looks like in spring and early summer with tulips and other early summer flowers, they would not bloom now. Someone wrote that the trees were dug up and planted elsewhere, that would be good. The removal of the trees made it possible to have paths wide enough for wheelchair users. Also a horticulturist wrote that those type of trees are good only for 60-70 years. Trees grow fast, they must have been changed before.

The cop had ample time to subdue the suspect if he was that concerned for his personal safety but waited until the guy got to his car and opened the door. Then, he fired 7 times at point blank range, with 4 shots hitting him (with his kids in the car). If discharging his firearm was warranted (and I don’t believe it was), one shot would’ve been more than enough to stop the man, especially at that distance. The cop did everything wrong when it counted the most. They are trained to deescalate situations. Speaking of getting your facts straight, you call BLM a Marxist organization. That’s not a factual statement. That’s your personal perception based on your animosity towards the group. You need to learn the difference between fact and opinion.

Their organization wants to do away with the nuclear family and they claim that America is racist with no evidence to back up their claim. I was watching video on KZbin of one of their leaders saying that the looting was a form of reparation for them but I know they are good people, huh. They tried to arrest Blake but he resisted walked away and ignored their requests to stop. I guess you think the police should have waited for him to grab whatever he was reaching for and turn around before they reacted even after he resisted. Blake did everything wrong and you make no sense.

well.. it is a rose garden. roses need sun. the crabapple trees shaded them! the trees are getting replanted, not disposed. Plus, the rose garden is now accessible, which is a big plus.
