I am 15 years old, and my grandfather introduced me to Melanie, and I fell in love with her beautiful and meaningful lyrics. My grandfather just died in February of this year of complications due to cancer. Just after he died, I heard this song, and Christopher Robin is the name of my other half, so I think this is his way of telling me he approves. R.I.P. -Perhaps there is hope for this generation's music

I'd been on the Goodies Rule OK? boards and read a review of one of Bill Oddie's solo shows in Australia. At one point he tells about singing this (possibly not the Melanie tune) aged 6 at a school concert, and he gets a girl out from the audience to sing it with him. Bless him!
