This is one of my favorites lol I'll never forget when I first heard it and that beat dropped and the bass in my car went crazy! I think the production of it was great! And of course the meaning is just so relatable! I hope you like Alphabey Boy. The writing is crazy and the story is a big slap to her ex!

I like when you said it was bored , stale , not dragging you in cuz just like the meaning of this song is trying to deliver , this kind of love we’re chasing felt like we’re never gonna reach it and we’re stuck in this loop of going around and around . Like in real life , would you still try to continue this relationship if it’s all boring and stale and have no hope of progress? For some they might realize it sooner and walk away but for some they will get stuck on this loop round and round like a horse on a carousel chasing for this love . I love how this song just describe perfectly this feeling and If you’re smart enough in the relationship , you wouldn’t want to be pull into it and stay out .

I think how you feel is super intentional on her part. The beat and everything sounds sick at the beginning then gets more and more repetitive feeling, really driving home the message in the lyrics. Brilliant writing, I think it's clear Melanie cares more about the message even more than the music, she's willing to let it be the victim to make her point, which is one of the things I love most about her.
