Yes I think the principal represent the government and the Cleaner who cleans it casually means that it's not a big deal since there is a higher authority and lets just say the President is just one villain that can be replaced and someone just like him or worse would come after him, which is the principal's son in k-12 movie. I don't know.. this is just my thought.

Not sure if you guys have noticed but the difference between the characters that can see the wrong doings / have big eyes are supposed to also be empaths. It's easy to be blind to wrong if you dont really care about people

I think this song is about the cancellation culture. Nowadays, you can't say anything on internet because you can be judged or misunderstood. It is like we needed to memorize what we can or can not say to not offend others that are, sometimes, faking their own pain.

Ngl, Drama Club reminds me of Twitter. How everyone on that platform gets easily offended over everything and if you don’t fall in line or apologize, you get a mob formed on you. Hence why I left. The users watching the mob are the kids sitting in the seats with the brainwashed smiles while Melanie having the spotlight on her is like when you watching someone get Ratio’d or hunted down by the Twitter mob. And you basically just sitting and watching it.
