people always say that we’re “victim blaming” when there is more evidence to defend melanie rather than timothy. timothys side has so many loopholes and she always has an excuse for them. when people proved the dates wrong, she said “i forgot”, when people called her out for supporting another abuser she said it was “her choice”. like girl do u hear urself.. 💀

Timothy really glossed over so many details in her new statement, which provided absolutely no new information aside from "I've been bullied off the internet so leave me alone, but also believe me and I hope you forgot all the reasons you didn't in the first place."

Hi there. Thank you so much for making this video. I very apprentice it 💕 I've been a fan of Melanie since February 2021 & to be honest.. I feel a strong connection with her too though i never met her personally. I always seen her as a beautiful human being who is trying to spread awareness to others & heal them through her art. It's like a bit of a journey when you think about it. It's silly but she means everything to me, even to this day. When i first heard about the allegations i immediately believed they were fake based on what everyone at the time was saying about Timothy being a liar & that she admitted to it & did it because she was jealous of Melanie when really that never happened. I've done research on the subject a few months before the allegations had resurfaced again based on some misinformative vidoes I've seen from people who hate on her from what they say about her art that isn't actually true. There are dozens of fake images online & the incident has never been proven to be true or false but it is confirmed that something did happen between Timothy & Melanie that night which resulted in their friendship being ended. Personally i think it was miscommunication/disagreement but everyone else online who looked at the issue says otherwise. Everyone keeps taking Mels words out of context with only the "she never said no" part of her statement because it looked the most suspicious from her first statement about the issue. Now everyone is immediately assuming she's guilty based on that when for me there isn't enough evidence to prove her that & personally in my opinion, from how well i know her from my observations especially with all the people around her, i don't think she's the type of person to actually commit this type of offense but again we don't know because we weren't there when it happened. I don't think we'll ever know the full story since no new details had came out but otherwise, since it had risen up again, it had been affecting me a lot for several weeks based on what everyone has been saying about Melanie when i strongly feel & think otherwise. Especially with those commentary channels who didn't do their research & gaslight everyone who watches the video into thinking what they were saying to them & the depressing part is, it's working & no proper research had been done on those videos. It made me lose respect for the people who made them that i used to watch before. Other than that, it's gotten to the point where i don't feel safe talking about Melanie being my favourite person/artist when i never even met her around other people. They'd immediately go at me & say crude things & say other stuff about her that i wouldn't agree or want to hear at all. It's made me depressed for a long time & i don't think I'll be getting any better for me anytime soon for now. I still am affected & i am tired of it but there's nothing i can do. It's unhealthy i know.. & with the Tumblr situation, everyone keeps taking that one out of context too. If it really is what they say it is it would have been something else entirely & more graphic but i don't believe that to be the case. I think it's a self portrait of Melanie herself that was drawn as concept art for the Crybaby album before it released. Anyways, thank you for reading this & i appreciate you trying to clear things up & spread awareness for everyone else. I trust you with your connections because i experience those feelings too, even with the one about the healer. I don't know if you've spoken to Melanie at all other than Timothy & i do wish you the best of love & luck in your life from myself. I cannot be more happier more than i already am at the moment 💔💗

(Sorry for this being long. I thought I should give my opinions on this as well and how I feel about this situation. This goes out to everyone who stumbles upon the comment section as well. I'd like to spread my thoughts throughout videos all over this platform to possibly and hopefully give people more of an open mind) Hey! Thank you sm for speaking about this topic! I know I'm a little late but I just recently found your channel and I think you have really good points on both of your recent videos you made about the allegations. Your thoughts and opinions speak volumes and I will honestly say most are the same thoughts I have. I truly believe the whole thing may be some sort of misunderstanding from both girls and I especially believe it could'nt have been SA. Why? Well before I get into that, for anyone reading know that I am looking at this fairly. And that these are MY thoughts on this matter. Also I beg you to read fully through cause I know some don't and immediately jump into conclusions. I know this isn't anyone's business to talk about except for Tim and Mel but I just really felt I had to give my full, honest, opinion. I can't say I know either of them because I don't. But... Mel genuinely doesn't seem like that type of person. I know, I know don't type yet! "But you don't know what she's like off camera." True. But sometimes you don't have to know the person. For me it's just a gut feeling I have. It's just uncharacteristic of her. My honest opinion I believe neither girls deserve any type of hate. I don't hate Tim. Nor do I wish any harm on her. People like that are cruel! Just from what I listened to from her music I can tell it's actually really good and have a lot of potential. Though, I'm not saying she's completely lying, (Like them both consenting to doing sexual acts) but I do feel like she's not telling the full truth on her claims about Mel. The worst thing about this drama is that there's always misunderstanding coming from people in Mel's old tweet from years ago. How some say "She never said no." and never the full quote. And to those who do says it doesn't make a difference when actually...It really does. Let me explain. "She never said no to what we chose to do together." This wasn't Mel admitting to the assault. Though she could've worded it better I will agree but the quote can very well imply Timothy did give consent and/or didn't actually make it clear or said no multiple times. She's denying Tim's statements. Yes, silence doesn't always = consent but not everyone can read the room well. One of the theories I have is Tim may very well be doing this for fame and attention. And maybe was lead on to thinking that her and Mel's experience was SA. Flase allegations are a thing after all. But I also like to add a few more theories myself. From what I heard from others both girls could have been high on weed or something and possibly forgotten details of what happened. (I'm not sure if this is true. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). Also if I'm correct it's known that Timothy herself stated that she was diagnosed with Autism, right? What does that have to do with anything? Now I'm not an expert in any of this but being autistic myself I have some more thoughts of what could've happened. Before speaking further I just wanna state that not all autistic people are the same. There's a whole spectrum out there. In no way am I implying that my experiences are the same as hers. But from my experiences I can try to gather many possibilities I can. During the moment it's possible Tim could've been lost on what to do. For people with Autism it can be hard for them to speak their mind. So, in Tim's head it's possible she could've said no over and over again but never really said it put loud or shown any clear signs. In Mel's perspective she probably didn't get the hint. Maybe Tim was scared to say something to her best friend at the time. Or maybe she just froze in shock, unsure what to do. Or, a good possibility, she later had regrets consenting then decides to tweet her allegations against Mel, with the possibility of misunderstanding Mel's intentions completely. Or it may as well could've been out of spite for some reason. For all we know Tim's expression and body language could've been unreadable for her. (There's also been comments online speculating that Melanie is also autistic but again I'm not sure if it's ture or not. Correct me if I'm wrong). Although Tim is older than Mel keep in mind that they were both extremely young at the time and sometimes young people can do stupid things. But once again as Tristan says in his last video none of us was there besides Mel and Tim so I can't say for sure. However, it is a huge speculation of mine. Back to Mel's "She never said no to what we chose to do together" quote I want to point out a lot of people supporting and defending Tim always use that excuse. There's nothing wrong with supporting her in general there's just no absolute proof of Mel being a r@pist yet. And saying that she is so soon is just outright wrong and disgusting considering she hasn't even had the chance to respond yet. People are already destroying her merch (again) and from the looks of it that stuff is expensive. What's worse I see vids of people accusing her of drawing CP. Which I will say in the most simple way, no, it is not. Crybaby is a character. Do more research in the lore before assuming. So, please, for the love of humanity, listen to both sides of the story. Especially Melanie's when she speaks out. There's also people from both fandoms (Yes, not only some of Mel's toxic fans) who sends hate and threats to each other and it's so sickening to the stomach. Oh and before any hate or backlash from anyone else who reads this I feel like I have to keep stating remember these are my thoughts and I'm not trying to paint a story or change your way of thinking. But I do plea to keep an open mind and always try to be thoughtful, respectful, and most of all kind in this serious situation. There's already enough drama as it is please do not make it worse. And know in conclusion, I'm not trying to pick a side. I'm mostly staying neutral because I simply believe this is just a messy misunderstanding on both parts. I'm not "Always believe the victim" or "Always believe the victim, until it's your favorite artist" or "I'd rather believe a potential liar than a potential gr@pist" or "I stand with Melanie, Timothy is a liar!" No. Note I am a Mel fan but that's not my reason for defending. I'm remaining neutral for the most part. Until Mel's response my thoughts stay the same. (Again, sorry for making this long it wasn't my attention. I like to give out my thoughts as clear as possible. I feel like the two vids on this subject is a really good opinion to a similar way I felt. Hope you all have a wonderful day/night. :> 💖)

@@kiraikagarin I'm sorry if you see it that way. I know I have no right to speak for Mel cause the simple truth is we absolutely have no idea who each other are. I understand but what I said is true. I may not know her in real life and you're right but most of the time when my gut tells me something it's right. Not all the time ofc cause I really don't like judgement and I actually do use my brain before acting. The reason for thinking that is because Mel has always had this kind and sweet behavior towards anyone. And her music really does show that she wants to help people worldwide in a positive light. As I said they were younger back then and possibly could have just been a huge mistake and/or misunderstanding. But so far there's still no actual proof that Mel is an assaulter. Since the tour is now over I'll still be waiting on Mel's response. Until then my thoughts on the situation stay the same.

Energy doesn't lie, people do. If you learn to read the energy of a situation, the truth becomes clearer. This is super important to keep in mind right now with all the political arguments being had. Know when you're being attacked, don't be gaslit into thinking you deserve to be talked down to or bullied.

This needs to be proper debunked because now both sides are literally harrassing each other for me, Melanie fans have such weaker arguments like "why didnt she go court" "why did she do SW" which IS victim blaming. The harrassment on timothys side is wild too, you cant say youre against rape then wish it upon people
