Tadd wasn't the only one not credited a lot in this routine. I don't recall hearing anyone praise the choreographer at all. There was a brief camera shot of him but no special recognition from the judges. That was one of my favorite routines, and I don't think they even mentioned the choreographer's name (Spencer Liff)!

Melanie and Tadd have great chemistry together! I love the fact that Cat mentioned 'Black Swan' - cause the minute I first saw this I was like, "whoa. BS flashback." Brilliant concept, great choreography, awesome piece and even more amazing pairing! :)

@Sailoroftheskies Yes, Tadd did not get the real credit he deserved on this number. And others may have noticed that the judges never mentioned or complimented the choreographer--who was great!

I love how every season there's another dancer who is the 'best the show has ever had'... In my opinion they are the following: Season 4 - Danny Season 5 - Brandon Season 6 - Jakob Season 7 - Billy Bell Season 8 - Melanie Season 9 - CHEYON!!!! :D BUT, I will forever love Melanie. SHE IS THE BEST DANCER THE SHOW HAS EVER HAD.

Felt just the opposite, I saw much energy in Melanie's expressions, not just the dancing. Excellent performance/emotions. In his role Tadd was the one without much real feelings for Melanie. And they both "acted" accordingly, his indifference to her attraction to him and her infatuation with him.

the reason tadd doesn't get any attention is because he doesn't deserve it. Yes, his technique is impressive for a breakdancer, but he did not ONCE display emotion or PERFORM any dance beyond doing the moves. I'm surprised no one else brought this up.

I feel like I'm the only person who thought Melanie just didn't look that in to Tadd during this performance. Tadd looked like he would devour her at any given moment with his eyes alone, but she just wasn't giving that energy back. I feel like Tadd played the part and danced the choreography well. Melanie danced really well, but she just didn't sell her role. Even when they kissed the audience had a delayed reaction and it didn't affect me at all.
