These two women have always been my favorite dancers in the history of sytycd. Sasha has the energy and the range that makes you seat at the edge of your seat in every performance and Melanie has the technique of a goddess. I belive there were two winners that season. I could not possibly choose between these two women and I still can't.

I thought that at first but when Sasha did Misty Blue and Fool of me. I knew right then and there. She was the better dancer. What do you think would have happened if they gave Sasha a contemporary routine. Instead of the wacking routine and a Jazz routine. Instead of that Cha Cha. She would have won. Without question. That's why they decided to challenge her at the end because if they would have gave her those routines. She would have won. Without question. They didn't want that. Honestly. I think they planned for Melanie to win. From the beginning. Think about it. They gave her the strongest partner. On the show. They gave her the best routines. They made her feel like. She was better than everyone else on the show. Which everyone knew that wasn't true. They even gave her the best all-star partners. They also kept all the routines within her dance style. How can anyone lose with all that support. I'm pretty sure I can win the show with that much support. Sasha on the other hand had to fight every week. To stay in the competition. Despite the challenges they put her through. I felt like she earned the title because she put 110% in all her routines. Despite the amount her partners were puting in. In some of her routines. if she is puting in 110% and her partner is puting in like 60%. The routine is not going to work. Tadd you know who you are. Alexander you to. Thing that got me though. Tadd put in like 60% with Sasha but put in like 110% with Melanie. That's messed up. Marko on the other hand always puts in 110%. I thought they both danced what Lola wants pretty good. Fuck Nigel.

It was Sasha's partners that destroyed her chance to win. Alexander in the hip hop routine. If Nigel was paying attention. Sasha and the Choreographer clearly said that Alexander had no swag whatsoever. The paso doble Alexander was the cape in this one. Sasha destroyed him in this routine. That's Life routine. This I didn't understand. Tyce told them. To dance the way they wanted to dance. Wtf. Shouldn't you have a routine ready for them. You might as well send them to the bottom. I've never heard of a dancer. Making up their own routine. On this show. I was like wtf. Nigel really tried to make Melanie feel like she was better than Sasha. There is no one on this earth better than Sasha. Next we have the Wacking routine. Enough said. It's a Wacking routine. The first on the show. Can't really fault her partner on this. Once again. It's a Wacking routine. Everyone knows this routine. Is the hardest routine on the show. To do. Even the people who are skilled at it. It took them years. To hone it down. You can give this routine. To anyone. Out of all the seasons and they will mess this routine up. They gave Sasha this routine. Right after she performed full of me. They didn't want her to seize the day. I think alot of people were pissed. When they gave her that. Next we have the Cha Cha. I'm going to be honest. Tadd completely messed that routine up. Sasha was doing her thing but it was hard for her to shine because she was dancing with tree. He looked so fucking stiff in this routine. This routine revealed in Tadd. What that second routine Wadi and Missy did. Revealed with Wadi but what happened. They tried to blame it on both of them. I pick up on stuff quick. Nigel you can shove your show. Up your ass.

James Brown you are probably right James because I don't even remember who Sasha's partner was!!😲. That's how memorable he was to me. I still believe that Melanie's techniques were flawless, but Sasha's range was to die for!!!!!

I agree. Melanie is without a doubt an amazing dancer. She's not better than Alex Wong though. Alex's technique is a little better than hers. I can honestly say that Sasha destroys Alex. If those two competed. My money would be on Sasha. Sasha brings everything you could ever want. To a dance routine. I can talk all day about this girl. Sasha's movement quality is legendary. Every single routine she does. Its like she become the music. When i say movement quality. I mean rhythm.

Another thing the judges didn't take into account. I think we both agree that Misty Blue was flawless. The very next week she did Game on. She destroyed that routine. She was Flawless in this routine without a doubt. Then she did Fool of me. Need I say more. I can't remember 1 dancer having 3 flawless performances in a row. Sasha deserved that win.

Hopefully you know this, but just in case: Actually, favourite is a word. USA tends to use it without the "u" and other countries add the "u", but it still is an actual word that has the same meaning as favorite...Examples: color/colour, rancor/rancour, humor/humour. It just depends on what country you're in/how you want to spell it...soooooo...yeah.

Melanie is a beautiful technical dancer, but I'm sorry... I couldn't take my eyes off Sasha. Even when I rewatch so I can watch Melanie, I keep watching Sasha. Her lines were bea-u-ti-ful. There's a grace and softness to her strength.

@khalifisrandom I'm sorry if this offends you but are you crazy!?!!!?! I think sonya did an AMAZING job with the choreography!! I understand that you are entitled to your opinion but I think sonya made that choreography before she knew who her dancers were gonna be. Both Melanie and Sasha have different strengths and I think Sonya Utilized most of their strengths but it was also a jazz routine and it was a sonya tayeh routine so it was gonna be a little different than everybody else's dances!!

Lady Gaga said before. Melanie was her favorite dancer. I think that changed after this routine. It was so funny because no one. Was paying attention to Melanie. After this routine was over. Even the people in the front row. Was screaming Sasha's name. When Lady Gaga said you were born this way. You are absolutely incredible. She was looking straight at Sasha. Even Nigel called her Sasha Fierce. Melanie was like Sasha's sidekick. Lol. She might have got some attention. If she kissed Sasha. After the routine. Hahaha.

Sasha is lightyears ahead of everyone in dancing. I think every dancer knew it to. Sasha proved that she was the best because as much as they challenged her. She accepted that challenged. Everyone knows shes was the most challenged on that show. That season and she still came in 2nd. That tells me she is the best and she should have won. If you don't agree. Think of one thing. What if Sasha had all Melanie's routines and Melanie had all Sasha's routines. How do you think it would have turned out. Honestly i don't think Melanie would have made it to the top 8 but Sasha on the other hand. Would have won the show. Easily. Thats how you can tell who the best is. Give them their oponents routines. Then tell yourself. If they would have still won the tournament. With them.

When you can interpet the choreographers story. Through dance. You ammediately won me over. Sasha is a choreographers dream. Melanie is a good dancer but she could never interpet a story. She may have danced it well but we see that all the time. Hint Alex Wong and Allison routine,Alex Wong and Eliana's routine,There are so many routines. That are danced the exact same way. They make you feel something but Sasha was different from everyone else. She literally told the story. From beginning to end. Her first routine Stupid. Should have won an emmy easily. This girl literally speaks through dance and that to me. Has never before. Been done. In one dance. This girl literally. Changed dance forever. Now everyone doesn't want to dance like everyone else. They won't to dance like her.

I see you're STILL trying to convince yourself and others that Sasha walks on water when it comes to dancing. Fool. Why don't you go back and watch the episodes. ALL the judges told Sasha she was (at best) tepid until she did her routine with Twitch. She couldn't do ballroom, she couldn't do contemporary very well, and she looked completely out of place with her Broadway number. She had one other great routine with Neil (I think). She is nowhere near the dancer Melanie Moore is.

This is how good Sasha is. That hip hop routine between her and Alex. It was alright but not that good. But it didn't matter. America knew she was still way better than Ricky and Ryan. I think I laughed my ass off. When she was safe. I was like. That's how good she is. She didn't even have to do a dance. I'm so glad. Sasha got picked. For the bottom three couples. In the top 12. I already knew she was going to get picked. Regardless. The reason why I wanted her in the bottom three. Is I couldn't wait for them to get rid of Alexander.He did not deserve to be in no top ten. Sasha been carrying his behind anyway.

This is my question to those people out there that think Melanie is better than Sasha. The hip hop routine to the moon she did with Alexander. If Melanie did that same routine. With Alexander. What would have happened. She would have tanked it. Same with misty blue. Same with tadd and Sasha's cha cha dance.Same with the Wacking routine. Hahaha Melanie in a wacking routine. As a matter of fact. She would have bombed 90% of Sasha dances. That let's me know that she was robbed.
