wildflowers! hmmm, tempting to sign up for your course given that we are still in the messy season here in northern British Columbia. It was -30C last Monday, and +10C yesterday, which quickly became freezing last night with snow and hail. We're still a long way from wildflowers or anything green😂, although when spring does finally arrive, it essentially explodes.

Hello Mel, I am very pleased that you have made another video. I love the birds singing in the background. Your husband did such a great job announcing your new course:))). A big praise for him! I have also sketched so many Cornish wildflowers on our walks and also painted pictures in pastels. We love the little pink flowers on the coast path. It is so wonderful what a variety of plants there are. We also have primroses, violets and daffodils in bloom here. They are such beautiful splashes of colour in the dull weather we have here. At least there you can see spring:). Unfortunately we can't go to Cornwall in May this year. My husband has diagnosed with cancer and will have an operation in mid-April. We hope so much we can go in September and then everything will be fine. Then we can hopefully recover in your beautiful Cornwall. I wish you all the best and look forward to seeing videos of you sketching on the wonderful coastpath:). Maybe you'll also show some of your work with Pippa in April. Take care of yourself. Gabi xx

Wildflowers. I’ve only recently discovered and subscribed to your channel, Mel, and it has fast become my all-time favourite KZbin channel. Your voice and accent are so calming, your art is amazing, and the place where you live and sketch is breathtaking. I love art and enjoy having a go, but I have a lot to learn. I live in hot, dry, rural Australia; I don’t find the landscape very inspiring here, and the climate is not conducive to sketching or painting outside for very long.
