Honestly if I was her I’d ask about these period symptoms mainly the pain part. Maybe this is totally normal for her and how her body works but A lot of women feel it’s normal to be almost nonfunctional doubled over in pain crying when they’re on their period LADIES THAT AMOUNT OF PAIN ISN’T AVERAGE CRAMPS. Don’t let yourself suffer. Even the hormonal stuff can be described as normal and sometimes it’s not especially when more chronic physical issues come up. Migraines, excessive bleeding, can’t walk or stand, in pain constantly to the point of crying. Some of this is described as normal and YES on your period these are all relevant factors but when it’s extreme EVERY time you’re on your period that’s not right. Don’t let society tell you you’re meant to suffer :)
@CiaraAyana2 жыл бұрын
Soooo.... It's not normal to be bent over walking cause it sends a sharp pain up your body when your on your period.. especially the second day??

@@CiaraAyana nope it’s not normal at all. Healthy periods are generally actually relatively pain free and PMS free. Mine used to be like that but not anymore🤍
@reyneldasnell75982 жыл бұрын
@@CiaraAyana Not it isn’t. I was like that as a young child and suffered my entire twenties until a doctor diagnosed me with endometriosis and fibroids. They had to stop my cycle for a year just for my body to detox and reset. Now they are relatively pain free. The first day is annoying but not unbearable. The sooner you get it checked they can treat it. If you don’t it can make you sterile. Good luck!❤

This. I have endometriosis and when you get the right dr (a real one that listens), they will tell you at you SHOULD NOT be in pain that affects your daily life. If your dr doesnt listen to your pain, scream and get a new one!

I really feel you about the body dysmorhpia, it takes a lot to fight off those negative thoughts that creep in and tell you that you aren't beautiful the way you are and pin points the things you need to change. something i try to do is deprogram those thoughts by listening to body positive affirmations as soon as i wake up, i also do mirror work and repeat affirmations while looking at myself and when i start to hear those thoughts creep up, i fight back as hard as i can and repeatedly say out loud "i am beautiful" "i am perfect the way i am now" "skinny does not equal pretty" "gaining weight is not a bad thing, it's just neutral" etc. sending you so much love🤍

I like shuri. Beautiful name. And it has a uniqueness without being outright wakanda. People have to think about the background of the name. I’m feeling body dysmorphia really heavy right now because growing up I was a dancer so I was a lot smaller in size. Even though a lot of people look at my body and they say that it’s nice and that they envy my body I look in the mirror and I look at something different. It also doesn’t help that my mom points out my weight gain but that’s another story for another time. The only thing I can say about body dysmorphia is finding a little ways to love and appreciate your body goes along way. And when I am doing healthy things and being healthy I feel better about myself. If you are looking to change your body in any way then I suggest writing out those changes that you want to see in those gains that you want to make and then researching the steps to get there and then writing out goals and how you were going to implement them. And even if you are doing that just congratulate yourself for taking the steps to accomplish some thing and appreciating how far you’ve come and try not to fixate on the goal. Just fall in love with the process

I just wanted to add this because I don't think most people get told this about their periods and I took a bunch of health courses pertaining to women's health and there was this course that was thought provoking and I wish every woman was taught this: your period is also a energy and spiritual based exchange with your body. When you get emotional about certain things and even have moments that may seem to come back up in regards to depression, anger, irritabilty, sadness, insecurites, pain etc, it can be because during your period your body also brings out all the hurt and thoughts you may have been suppressing during the time before your period started. This may be odd, but I figured out why I was more irritated and annoyed by certain people in my life even more during my period and why I always felt even more depressed and why my cramps felt even more intentionally extra than usual in some cycles. The hormones work hard but your suppressed thoughts and feelings work even harder and I learned that you just have to accept them and work through them through your period and really ask why you are feeling even more enhanced in this feelings. Your body feels those emotions and they wait for your period to bring in the pain. You will notice that when you feel off about something you get stomach pains well this is the same with periods. Women have been taught to hate them and it shouldn't be that way. I feel it is society not wanting you to embrace the process of purging and "letting go" of what has been harboring your thoughts properly so we get told to be okay with being angry, annoyed, and it sucks because PMS is not something to make a woman feel less or sensitive about. PMS should also be seen as signs from your body to also listen to it and I mean really listen to it and care for it both not just physically but mentally. Also, THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEOS MEL! lol I just wanted to drop my random intel and anyone can take it as they want. It is just my opinion and thoughts from what I learned in my past college course. Have a nice day! :)
