Hi there, great tutorial. Can you explain why when I select the multiply blending mode, the colour of my pattern changes? It either gets a bit darker or lighter and doesn't represent the initial pattern? Any way to stop that from happening?

The multiple blending mode allows for shadows giving a more realistic representation of the cushion, however it will adjust the colours. You can adjust the opacity or try a different blending mode. It really depends on the colours in your design as each blending mode will act differently on different colours. It's really something you need to play with to find the right one. Hope that helps answer your question.

can you do this with a photo that isn't in pattern folder? As in bringing an outside photo to be on the pillow instead of a pattern from within photoshop
