I lived in Sydney for one year and I visited Melbourne for one week. Even if I love Sydney for the bay, the beaches and the nature surrounding, the most beautiful australian city is Melbourne, without doubts!

Great video. I've lived in Brisbane for 48 years. Travelled throughout Vic in a camper trailer. I now visit Victoria regularly (March, September, Dec/Jan) - base in Ferntree Gully close to the beautiful Dandenong Mountains. So much more to see like The Grampian and the high country. Love exploring nooks & crannies in Melb and love the public transport - so cheap or you hire a car for the countryside. I haven't experienced Vics winter yet!

@@theoutofofficetraveller Check a weather app at least twice a day because the forecast can change quickly 😊 Unless you're sure it'll be sunny all day, it's wise to carry a foldable umbrella and a jacket, because you never know when you might need them! Also a wide-brimmed hat and sunscreen for Dec-Mar, as the summer sun can be brutal even on a cloudy day.

It always baffles me that people are suprised that melbourne gets cold. Australia is a huge place and Melbourne is to the south of the continent. No one expects Seattle to have the same weather as Palm Springs.

Melbourne is nice and is not a wannabe Sydney or a miniature version of Sydney. It has its own character and history. But Melbourne gets far more rain than Sydney. The stopover in Singapore is a great idea. I've been visiting Singapore since the 1980s. I could gladly spend a week out of every month in Singapore. It's great for just walking and exploring.

Whilst I myself live in a relatively nice neighbourhood in Melbourne. The city itself has a number of attractions and the outer parts of Melbourne are also appealing in some respects. However I wouldn't rate it highly personally. Yes it's clean in some spaces but overall the bay is pretty flat windswept and hardly appealing during winter. It's mostly quite flat therefore the views are quite bland looking into the distance. It's a nice place and it kind of depends where you live. I would prefer to live elsewhere.

Victoria lol, not Melbourne. Philip Island etc etc is not in Melbourne, nowhere near actually 😂. Would you call London Bristol? 😂

I know you've been told this before, yet it's worth repeating: Geelong isn't in Melbourne. Geelong is classified as the second largest city behind Melbourne. Geelong can't be a part of Melbourne when it fits the aforementioned definition. Remember, Brad: aeroplane glue was invented to assemble model aeroplanes.
