Melbourne apartment updates | Review of custom kitchen drawers

In this video I take you through all the latest changes in my apartment including installing retractable fly screens, USB power points, swivel wall-mounted TV, kitchen ceiling fan, wall-mounted Dyson, extendable makeup mirror, sensor rubbish bin, new artwork and teak coffee table. I also review the Blum drawers I had installed in the kitchen a number of weeks ago. I hope you enjoy it!

What wonderful improvements you have made to your beautiful new home, Lilibet. It can't have been easy living in the mess and having tradesmen working in such a small space, but it was worth it. I liked what you have done so much that I have saved this video as a reminder for when we move into a new home in the future. Thank you! I am mostly happy with the change. But there are always compromises with downsizing. Will do, that's a great idea for a future video. 😍

I've never heard of retractable screens. Definitely going to get these for my new apartment. The swivel TV works great for the kitchen. You made such wonderful changes to your home. I have those same drawers in our current rental. I'll have to go back and watch the other video (which I watched before having these drawers) to see how you have them organised.

Such great additions! As you say, bring an owner means you can make all the changes you want. And I’m in love with the round coffee table, it’s very unusual. How does Millie cope with the fly screen? Has she figured it out?

I'm pleased you like the table! I was initially worried about how Milly would cope with the screens. I leave a small gap open for her most of the time. And if I forget she either politely waits at the door or gives a little meow. Am planning to do an update video on Milly soon so hopefully will fill you in on how she is going. 😻
