Never in my life was I so excited to learn this dance, when shown this video by a friend back in 2007. It grew in my heart and I'll take it to the grave with me. Thank you all who contributed to this scene. Y'all are the best.

I remember when shuffling was all about having fun and coming together to have a good time and rave. Now it's all about shuffle battles and screen stretching and special effects and drama within crews... What about P.L.U.R.? we're all supposed to be a peaceful community. We're supposed to be the the ones who dream at night with their eyes open.

@@marcusmuntean I mean I feel like it aged well. As an active shuffler in the community, there is still quite a bit of drama and people getting “too deep in” where some of us are forgetting to have fun. But for the most part, there has been a revival in shuffling, especially post-pandemic (I started in July 2020). And there’s a young youthful vibrancy in the community now, but with that is some immature people ruining the fun and forgetting PLUR. Interestingly, you don’t see the word thrown around a lot by ravers anymore. The dance has evolved and a lot of people don’t do Hardstyle or phatties anymore so I’m glad to say that I am still keeping it alive in my communities by bringing my phatties to shows/meetups!! Hardstyle will never die 😤🤘🏻

And there is a lot of fakeness on social media when it comes to the dance. Some people doing it for the views or to show off some body, but it’s ironic because that’s what’s popular and gets some genuinely good people into the dance. Nothing is perfect and this is just how it is, so I just remember that I’m only this because of the music and how my body feels when I dance. Nothing else matters

Shuffling will never be the same anymore, all of us Hardstyle shufflers should help spread it somehow! Encourage those who shuffle to different music (slower) to shuffle like this. But with all the "new shuffle styles" it seems kind of difficult to do this.Better yet, get people who don't shuffle at the moment to start! But start in the Hardstyle direction! Thumbs this up for people to hear and see this message, from all of us Hardstyle shufflers to the WORLD!! Don't let it die out! :/

Glad to say that in 2023 Hardstyle is not dead and I wear my phatties to shows/shuffle meetups still 🙌🏻 and I always request Hardstyle to be played. It will never die 😤 I fucking love it

Those worldwide crews do have their own goods too. For example, my situation. We have like 20 shufflers in the whole country where I live, so it's really hard to join any crews that will get you in if ur good enough AND u can meet up with em. And, well, I got a crew like that, but it's pretty much the only one here so it's kinda boring. And we don't meet up really often because all of us live like... at least 100 km away from each other.
