How was the road. Im planning on doing this road in July this year in an AWD Rav 4. What do you think?

Hi, We went there on late May last year, roads are fine little bit narrow in some places but definitely you can go on a Rav 4 without worries. One of our friends who joined this trip also drove a Rav 4. There was snow on the road between Pilots Lookout and Dead Horse Gap. If you are traveling on July better to carry snow chains there will be more snow.
