Sorry for everyone who lost on Meld. Only thing left to do is take my meld tokens to the overpass and huck 'em at cars I guess.. Seriously though, this was a baptism by fire for some and just another rug for us veterans.. I personally failed to pay attn to the project I just bought a sh load of coins and hodl'd. It sounded cool but highly ambitious. Diversify and keep the bulk of your investment in Bitcoin and maybe some layer one's like Cardano.

That's exactly how my account looked like after I was up 400. A 1400 loss altogether. Yeah, they were building, but did they ever show up to a summit? They left Cardano, even when Charles offered for projects to reach out if they were having funding problems. They know what they did. They can run, but they can't hide.

@cryptomoose man, I got so upset I sold all my WMTx, too. I feel safer only holding ADA. especially if you look at World Mobile doing. Kinda like following what MELD did. Moving outside of Cardano, not completely, but they also migrated the token. I am just going to hold ADA, and still, with this that happened, I am skeptical about everything ;(

@@duroka787delapeli I did the same. Especially after World Mobile only gave us like three weeks to migrate to the new token. I missed the deadline and sold most of my old WMT. At least I 4x'd the ADA I had put into WMT so I'm happy about that but I've lost five figures worth of ADA with MELD...

I swapped out of meld before the fall, and only invested about 500, figured meld would only succeed after cardano, so I waited it out, I don't think I lost much, maybe about 30 bucks after swapping due to bad conversation fees. Meld initially made me about 10% increase but after the election cardano did far better than meld. It is a penny stock, and a new project, I figured I'd take a year or more to takeoff and likely stagnate. They should revamp new projects with some sort of policy that protects from low liquidity early on. I was going back between meld and cardano and converted to cardano when meld fell slightly. Cardano was far more stable for me. Bitcoin did really well recently too.

I had a bad experience with claiming some staking rewards from MELD. Tried to get help with it in their discord. People were clueless. Took me 3 hours to figure out the correct address that would let the smart contract give me my money back. At that moment, I was out.

Meld indeed had potential, I'm just stunned about their communication. In the past they seemed to know how to communicate and promote their upgrades and everything, but with their shutdown its just pure silence other than the header on their website that said absolute nothing whenever you click on it. I have the feeling they covered their own asses first and then just spread a rumor instead of a proper announcement. Shame on them.

Most people lose money on unproven potential 100x baggers. My advice is to go with the things that are proven in order to increase your odds of success as an investor, even though that often means only seeing a 10x to 15x gains (that’s still good guys!). And that goes for any other investments too ( I.e. stocks, real estate, etc.).
