The reason why Mr.G&W cant L-Cancel all of his aerials is because due to an oversight (and time restraints as he was one of the last characters made) by the developers. The game thinks that Mr.G&W’s N-Air, B-Air, and U-Air are Special attacks, and because you can’t L-Cancel special attacks results in this. The game is still broken, just thought that people would know

Even worse with Luigi: He *never* use his Up-B for recovering. Instead, he just his Side-B which itself isn't wrong but without gaining height, doesn't really help in most cases. In fact, there are videos which shows that you can win against anyone without any input ("Luigi wins by doing absolutely nothing") against level *9*s! And no, quite a few stages which were (mostly) hazard-free.

every character is actually reasonably balanced. They all have this true combo. First, you press start. Then you press L, R, Start, and A simultaneously. This will send both you and your opponent to a new screen that allows you to move this coin that represents you, and put it over a box with a picture of fox.

Its an oversight on B-Reversing. The First hit is meant to do the set knockback so it combos into the rest of the hits. They still use this in Smash 4 for multi hit up b's. Roy can still do this in Smash 4 for similar results and more famously Mario (I think it still OHKOs Jiggs). The OHKO is just the result of a programmer being lazy/rushed and not wanting to figure out the set kb in which it combos into the other hits. After all Roy was rushed and little time was spent on him.

A lot of this is probably due to the two year development cycle and Sakurai and his team working overtime to try and get it done for the Gamecube's launch. It's remarkable that the game turned out so well being so rushed, especially when other games are rushed and they end up being like Sonic 06.

Honestly, I just prefer sm4sh because I don't have the time to try to learn advanced techniques just to have even a prayer of winning. I get why people like melee and the stuff you can pull off if you know what you're doing is amazing, but I've never been able to get close to that kind of stuff. The more I focus on strategy and competitive stuff the more I overthink everything and get completely destroyed, so I don't usually bother with it too much. If you can do it, good on you, but I'll be playing the stuff that I can actually enjoy and not get wombo'd into oblivion on as much.

When I was making this video, I thought people wouldn't take this video seriously, but I knew in the back of my head some would. I'm hoping that if they try to say these mechanics make Melee a bad game, that they realize each iteration of Smash has an equal amount of their own problems.
