@magi in Tekken you can hit people on the ground and even launch them on counter hit, you can wavedash to follow their roll and do a different option based on that like with falcon in melee sometimes you can place a knee to cover half of their options and then react to their roll, kazuya for instance can do ff4 and cover everything except one option and condition off that

I think we can all kind of agree, the difference between melee and traditional fighting games, is that melee is fun as a total noob. And you feel totally helpless and like you are playing a boring game as a noob in traditional fighters. or is that just me? The way melee characters move and exist on a stage is just fun.
