Generator repair, a birthday, and some snow

Staybil has a shelf life written on the bottle Goto Omaha's Army Surplus Store in Ft Worth and get one or more of the metal 5 gallon Jerry Cans. It should come with the screw on metal flexible spout. I have one generator up and running with the zero ethanol fuel and 5 full fuel cans ready and waiting. We just got a few inches of rain/sleet. I need to replace the carb on my other generator. I gotta replace the carb on our riding mower two. So here's a carb question since your now a professional. Did you need to make any adjustments to the fuel jets or was it plug and play?? Yeah, during snowmagedon 2021 (Stephenville Texas) the power company cycled our power on for 1 hr and off for 45 minutes for several days. It was enough to keep the house warm and food cold but was going to trash my aquariums so I ran them off the generator until power came on and stayed on. I drain my skimmer into a 1 liter glass bottle. I have the bottle in a tupper ware container with a Neptune fluid sensor. If the sensor gets wet it turns the skimmer off and sends me an email.

When I checked the two bottles of STA-BIL I had, I didn’t see any dates anywhere. Thanks for the gas can suggestion. Last year I swapped out the carb on my lawnmower, it was so simple, just remove two 10mm nuts. Same for my generator. No tuning necessary, it’s plug and play.
