Three reasons why this performance is nothing short of brilliant: 1. Her onstage persona: from her personal interviews, she comes across as a soft-spoken, sweet, almost innocent girl, and when she's onstage, the spirit of whatever song she's singing completely overtakes her, and this is a perfect example. 2. Having been back-up singer, she gives them their time to shine. I love that. 3. Every note is pitch-perfect and enriched with a gorgeous, full tone. She is amazing!!

+Jennifer Albouy Maybe a fine point Jennifer but NO ONE is voted off. No voter calls up and says "I want Doolittle off the show"--"that's my vote". No, it is that for that week, they voted more for someone else. That is one big problem I had with this show though. In my mind, they should let all of the top 10 play all season long. For one thing, if anyone has their favorite gone, they stop watching--why loose TV audience? At the end of the term, THEN tabulate all the votes for all the performances and announce the top 3. What they did was make 9 LOSERS, and 1 winner. Great show during it's time, but why do that?
