Everyone forgets about the dream in season two when Daisy dreams of her parents abandoning her, except the parents are May and Coulson. THERE WAS SO MUCH SYMBOLISM IN THAT ENTIRE SCENE!!

Can we all agree that they are for real family bonds. May is the overprotective mom but wants to let the kids be able to survive on their own. Coulson is the cool dad that chills with his kids. Ward and Mack are the oldest brothers, Daisy is the youngest sibling who is the most hype and all games, Jemma is the middle sibling who is bubbly and smart. Fitz basically has been family the whole time being friends with Jemma and then falling in love. And yo-yo is the girlfriend that makes May kind of go insane but she still loves her. Hunter and Bobbi are the crazy cousins who come only during special occasions.

Jiaying audio of “our people know too well what a woman will do for her daughter” was perfect. May stood ready to fight Sif even though she didn’t stand a chance but she did it to protect Daisy like a woman tries to protect her child against anything and May saw Daisy as her own daughter

It's a shame that in season 7 they didn't worked on May/Daisy relationship, but in the fight sequences of Daisy you can clearly see May's influence. In the last episode in a fight sequence of Daisy I was like "daaaamn that's the apprentice of the cavalry"

The characters are played and written really well. The fact that May is so aggressive is well explained and it shows the impact of trauma without glossing over it. Her aggression doesn't seem too forced either, the acting is amazing. Great show all round.

I love how May doesn't think of herself as very maternal, but she is sort of like the mother of everyone. She loves everyone like they're her very own kids. (And I bet a part of her wants Coulson to be her husband since he's practically the dad of the agents.)

This is the prettiest thing I've ever watched in my entire life. There are so many things that are so precious. For example, when Phil tells May that Jiaying is Daisy's mom; knowing that, she goes and tells Daisy "I hope your mother is everything you wanted her to be". Llike!!! It's so obvious that even if she is happy about Daisy finding (finally) her mother, she also feels sad because she loves Daisy like a daugther and was starting to think about herself as the mother of the Bus kids. And then there is Robin... the little girl that she knows she is going to raise in the future. But they are supposed to change the future, so even if being Robin's mom is a nice thing, she has to let that go and fight against their fate, so everyone is safe. All the feels, lmao. Keep the good work! This is really amazing.

Dana says- That was just beautiful. It included a lot of little moments I'd forgotten. That fade transition from May to Daisy with her eyes closed leaning back against the wall- perfect. May isn't exactly a softie, but she has such deep love for her 'kids', and she shows it all the time, mostly in quiet, meaningful ways. You did a wonderful job of telling that story. It's also cool that I found this today (on Mother's Day).

In the whole series what I found emotional was how everyone had a soft spot for Daisy..when the Ward incident happened I thought May would not talk to her but the way she helped Daisy and showed belief in her,Coulson time and again said that she is closest he will ever have to a daughter,Mack treated her like lil sister,for Fitz Simmons she was like close friend/cousin and even Ward had that soft feeling for her no matter how worse things became..maybe after Garrett's death if Daisy wanted she could have him as a good man...she was that youngest member of the family who is brilliant and rebellious but is loved the most by everyone of the family ,even those who are evil .

lets admit now. daisy's parents mayb gone, well her mother jiaying is, her father Cal has no memories of her~ but philinda are the closest thing to been daisy's adoptv parents. altho kyle macLachlan and dichen lachman are greatly missed and i loved how in s5 where daisy lost it when yoyo tried to take jiaying's bones away from her. i mean that bit was intense. hope that kyle comes back as cal. s2finale still hurts. tho i wanna hear cal say to coulson, "Time to go night-night, Phil!" again. LOL plss i want daisy's dad to come back. she needs now more than ever. whether he got anmesia or not.

akaisha hrynyk The May that called Jemma poptart was brainwashed framework May. I don't remember the exact episode. But it was somewhere between 4x16 and 4x20. Now the scene where May and Daisy hug is 5x08 while they where still stuck in the future. That scene is the first time that May and Daisy seen eachether since episode 3 where Daisy was captured and enslaved by the Kree. That scene and others like it are my favorites to watch just because of the fact May acts more open and affectionate with Daisy. Those moments are rare for May always tries to hold back and act close off. Astep for moments where she gets cought off gaurd. Like everytime Jemma are Daisy hugs her she siffen up as if she's scared to return the hug. So scenes like that one where May just openly hugs Daisy with no hesitation because she's been so worry about her. We rarely ever see that. She'll openly show her worry and concern. But hesitate and act lost on what to do when it comes to showing affection. Almost like she don't know how are is scared to get too attach. Which has alot to do with what happened in brahran. I just wish whe've seen May more openly affenate with Jemma and expecually Daisy than what was shown. Because we all know that she cares for them alot more then she lets on and worries for their wellbeing. Expecually Daisy. Also she gets concern for Jemma everytime she and Fitz are force apart. May don't always openly showing it. But you can see it on her face.
