This is exactly the kind of routine I was looking for, volume but still soft. I hate the feel of stiff crunchy hair

Omg I googled if that’s right about air drying vs blow drying and Mel seems to be right based off a bunch of articles I found 😩 that’s actually wild I had no idea but yeah the water causes the hair strands to swell and potentially “crack” and damage the hair… and blow drying on a cool setting at the “right” distance can actually be, supposedly less damaging than constant air drying… different articles say blow drying is also damaging but mostly when it’s at higher heats I guess … anyways I came to share my findings because it was super interesting and mind blowing to me LOL

I dry my roots first then work downwards hover diffusing the lengths for a bit. Then I'll pixie diffuse my ends. I find my hair looks great and I've tried various products. I'm very happy with it.

Love this routine! I have been doing a similar routine and it has worked great for my long wavy hair! I’ve been using NYM curl cream and the Aussie instant freeze gel together like you did in this video! ❤️❤️❤️

I seen the same video that you're talking about where Mel said that it can be damaging to let your hair air dry for to long, and that's actually the second time I've heard that!! And, I just bought a T3 hair dryer that says on the box " better than aid drying"! WE HAVE BEEN LIED TO OUR WHOLE LIVES!!! We ARE allowed to dry our hair!! Lol. It seems like everyone has different opinions about what's good or not good for your hair. BUT ANYWAYS thank you for this video! I am really learning so much from you! Thank you for all the work you do for us, even while your pregnant!!! You're awesome!! 😃

I love watching you, we have similar hair so I get lots of tips! My problem with plopping, even upside down diffusing, is I always get this rats nest on the back of my head, once I flip over the back is such a mess.. thick coarse hair problems ugh .. I've been trying to section it down the middle-ish but then I lose definition. Sorry this is a book lol- how do you diffuse the back parts? Long hair is killing my back 😂 - anyway much Love curlfriend!

I got a triangular undercut in the back of my hair about 4 years ago and I've never looked back. It's still thick but much lighter, no straggly neck bit, not as hot and easier to tie up, and looks cool!

I don’t do anything special I just turn my head around and diffuse however much of the back I can reach. I didn’t get crazy definition in the back though as you can see in the video. The waves were a little stretched out. It happens☺️

HII so i keep commenting on people with similar hair to me but no one has responded. I really need some help. So I have type2 b/c hair and I stoped using sulfate shampoo and conditioner and I’ve tried shea moisture but I feel like my hair is worse it’s so brittle and dry, my scalp is itchy and oily. Idk what to do, I also just realized I have wavy hair not curly hair I’ve been doing everything wrong. My hair feels crusty and just horrible. I also notice when I diffuse my hair it’s super frizzy idk what I’m doing wrong 😭 Also what conditioner do you use ?!

1) Brush hair and add products in the shower 2) While your hair is wrapped up, blow dry your head (no diffuser) - it will cut time and cause no frizz
@janinedear-barlow3 жыл бұрын
Sorry but I don't see volume. But you have sparse hair so that's why.
