Many clients ask me what dumbbells I use. I use the PowerBlock.

Thanks for sharing this information on the power blocks. I have never seen them before this video. I like the simplicity of changing to different weights.

Which Powerblock set would you recommend for higher weights? I would like some that go up to 50 so my husband could also use.

Do you have to have 2 sets? When you need a weight in each hand?

I would say yes, but unfortunately, she didn’t address that.

A few yrs ago my husband asked if I'd "thrown out his bricks" - No, of course not, later on I discovered our teenaged son had taken some and duct taped them together to use as weights! Kids (on both counts) 😊......

It would be so helpful if you could give standard metric kilograms weights. Like most people in the world, I don’t understand US non standard imperial weights and measures. I don’t mean to sound negative when I say this. It would be so helpful if you think about us non US, non imperial folks. Thank you.

PowerBlocks was developed in the United States by an American citizen. Since it's his product, he does not have to use metric units if he doesn't want to. He does not have to accommodate you. If you want to use his product, then YOU adjust to him. Besides, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to do the conversion. It's not difficult to do. 1 kg = 2.2 lbs

Yep, they're expensive, but if you take care of them, they'll last much longer than you will be alive.

Great idea if you need new weights. We don't. We use what we have. We taught our four that there are things they are to leave alone. We started early. We use a "toy jail" don't live by the house rules and OHNO!!HORRORS toys get locked up! They cry to be released from jail!! After a lot of repetitions (the little ones are now four) the triplets leave our exercise equipment in the closet where we store it. The oldest was easier, but he is a "solo" child, nobody to conspire with!
