Best live version of this record I've seen to date. God she outclasses so many other singers - gives 110% of herself in EVERY detail - the phrasing, control, etc - but she also has warmth which in my opinion sets her apart from contemporaries she's often compared with. This makes her alot easier to listen to than Barbra Streisand or some others that I think are overrated (with no disrespect intended - not a dissing of her ability, just personal preference). Loved this so much.

I think this is one of the great pop songs of all time. This song has tragic roots, as it is, metaphorically, about young 14 year old boy (Peter Allen) whose father committed suicide. His mother told him to 'put on a brave face.' Yet, it is so important in life not to be phony, but real. I have found real healing in Christ, Who died on a Cross so that I could see the restoration of all things in the next life; no tears allowed as they will be obsolete! Jesus Christ is the light of the world.
