I haven't been out in the sun for a long time 😂 Only for short intervals, and it's still dark when I do my workout. And when I lived in Australia (before Covid), I rarely used sunscreen and stayed in the shade as much as possible. I also had an office job there. And before that, I wasn't bothered about using any sunscreen, like most Europeans. So no 😕

Just wait until it's gone :) No need to do anything about that. If it happens regularly you can use a blemish cream which you only apply on the spot, for example: How to use COSRX Centella Blemish Cream: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ppWrYX2mob2hhtk But again, no need to worry about one pimple :)

Hi, love your videos. I am 50 and I already use retinol 1.5% advanced number 7 serum twice a week, so what should I use at night daily? U suggested 0.2% retinoid of ordinary but since I am not a beginner, should I use it?
@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet2 жыл бұрын
The retinol 1.5% advanced number 7 serum contains only 0,3% pure retinol. So that is a bit stronger than the 0,2% from The Ordinary. And if you are only using it twice a week, you just can increase the frequency to every other day and then every day if needed and tolerated :)

Hey i was wondering do you know what causes the red spots left and right to the nose like you have in this video? I have this too since a few months and i dont know what that is. Sometimes its really red and has very small "elevations" and sometimes its barely visible. Do you know what helps for this?
@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet2 жыл бұрын
Hey! :) I have had this for years, but I'm unsure what caused it. I know that some exfoliating acids, scrubs or, in general, more 'aggressive products' can make it much more noticeable and weather changes too! I sometimes get little bumps in that red area as well. I prefer to use hydrating/calming products in the area as it seems to calm it down.

@@mohammadhanif1830 So, you've experienced acne even before using skincare products? Usually, Salicylic Acid, Benzoyl Peroxide and/or Retinol/Retinoids like Differin Gel help to reduce acne. As long as you can not control what's causing your acne, those products help to reduce it. I like COSRX sunscreen a lot; however, to avoid any interaction with your hormones, mineral sunscreens are better. However, they most often leave a white-cast (unless you get a tinted one) which I don't like at all. So, COSRX sunscreen is great! :)
