May I please ask a uneducated question.? This horn sounds so nice. I am new, starting to train my self on a Bb trumpet. I live in the boonies. KZbin is my only teacher. I want to play this horn. Here is the question, what key is the horn tuned for? Sorry for the ultra newbie question. Also I thought drum corps bugles were one valve and one rotor. Have things become more flexible? Thank you in advance! PS IM 61 and am learning from you guys! Sorry more inforneeded. Who makes this horn? My hunt is on!

why 1&3 for the high F's?

It can help to lower the pitch of the high F which is normally sharp for me on a Yamaha. Its a handy fingering for the extended held Fs.
